To break the arrogance of the Apsaras, Rishi Narayan closed his eyes and from the upper part of his thigh, emerged a beautiful maiden.
She was of the molten gold complexion, dresses in white, adorned with jewelries, her long luscious hair flowed in the winds.
Her eyes were like that of lotus petals, her nose was sharp like the beak of a parrot, her lips were red and were curved into a small smile.
All the Apsaras looked at her with wide eyes, all their beauty combined were also not equal to hers. The charming maiden turned to Nar-Narayan and bowed.
"Mere Srijan-karta, kya aagya hai ?" She asked in a soft voice.
"Hey Sundari, kyuki tum mere jangha ke uru bhaag se utpan huyi ho, iss liye tumhara naam hoga Urvashi." Narayan said.
"Batao apsarao, hai koi tum mei se, iss Urvashi se adhik sundar ?" Nar asked.
"Munivar, hum woh apsaraye hai jinke samaksh bade se bade rishiyo ki bhi tapasya bhang ho jati hai. Humare samaan koi nahi." Rambha said.
"Urvashi, inhe apne guno se avgat karao." Narayan said.
"Jo agya prabhu." Urvashi nodded.
She stood in a dancing position, seeing it as a challenge the rest of the Apsaras too took their positions. The Gandharvas started playing music.
All the Apsaras started dancing but none of them could match the grace of Urvashi. Her hips swayed like that of snakes, her hands moved swiftly at the beats of the rhythm.
Soon the ghoonghroo of the Apsaras broke down into pieces as they fell down panting but Urvashi also stopped and looked at them with a small smile.
"Hey Urvashi, hum apni haar swikarte hai." Menka said.
"Dekha tumne ? Swarg ke saare sukh meri jangha ke niche dabe huye hai." Narayan said.
"Kshama kare prabhu, hum sabse bada apraadh huya hai." Rambha said.
"Nahi, tum sab toh apne swami Indra ki aagya ka paalan kar rahi thi. Tum sabhi niraparaadh ho." Nar said.
"Indra ko humari oor se yeh Urvashi bhet mei dena. Aur kehna ki apne lokik sukh ki ginti mei isse bhi samellit karle. Ab jao." Narayan smiled.

"Toh iss prakar, Rishi Nar-Narayan se Indradev ko Urvashi praapt huyi ?" Ashok-sundari asked.
"Ha." Rambha and Menka nodded.
"Kintu Nar-Narayan kyu tapasya kar rahe the ?" Ashok Sundari asked.
"Unn dono ko Badrinath dham ki sthapna karni thi." Srinav said.
"Badrinath dham ?" She frowned.
"Ha. Jo bhavishya mei chaar dhamo mei se ek hoga." Amarsri said.
"Aur baki teen dham kaunse honge ?" Ashok-sundari asked.
"Baki teen dham honge - Rameshwaram, Jaganath aur Dwarika." Amarsri said.
"Arrey dekho, Suryast hone ko hai. Ashok-sundari, ab tumhare Kailash jane ka samaye aagaya anyatha Mata Parvati chintit ho jayegi." Srinav said.
