The next day, Vegeta stood in front of Nappa's door, hesitant on knocking on the door. He knew Raditz was still in the dorms, and had yet to learn of the accident. The smaller sighed and knocked on the wooden door, gripping his bag tightly.

A familiar bald man appeared almost immediately, that same shit-eating grin still stuck on his face. "Heya buddy!"

"Nappa." Vegeta stepped past him and looked around the messy dorm. "Where's Raditz?"

"Him? He's in the bedroom." The buff man closed the door and headed to the fridge. "You want a drink? I just refilled my beer stock."

The flame-haired boy shivered at the memory when he was on the phone with Nappa a few weeks ago and shook his head. "No thank you." He didn't bother to keep talking as he headed to the bedroom. He didn't bother to knock either as he kicked open the wooden door, raising an eyebrow at the sight of the long-haired boy in his boxers.

Raditz yelped and hid his body behind the blanket on the bed, not expecting the other to appear anytime soon. "Don't you knock?!"

Vegeta rolled his eyes and leaned on the wall, keeping his eyes on the taller male. "Nice to see you too." He smirked. "Don't worry. I'm not here for fun, I've got your brother for that." The smaller male laughed at Raditz's red face.

"What do you want already? It was obviously important to bother me while I was changing." The taller male quickly wore a pair of sweatpants before sitting on his bed.

Right, the real reason he came here. The flame-haired boy bit the inside of his cheek and took a deep breath. "Do me a favor after I tell you this, don't freak out." He saw Raditz raise an eyebrow, but nodded. "Your brother's in the hospital-"

"What happened?!" The long-haired male jumped to his feet. "How did he get in there?! Why didn't you tell me before?! Do my parents know?! Is he gonna be alright?! Do you-" Vegeta covered his ears and glared at the taller male. Did no brain cell exist in the men of the Son house?

"Raditz." Vegeta yelled over the panic. "Shut it. Your brother's fine, he's just a bit banged up, but he'll be fine."

"How can you say that so calmly?!"

"Because I was in a worse condition than he was." The smaller male turned around and left the bedroom, making his way into the living room and plopping onto the old, discolored sofa. He was never going to do this ever again.

"Then how come you're here and he's not?!"

"Because I signed a self-discharge sheet to leave, so I'm not exactly in my best shape either." He wasn't lying. Sure he was completely fine - even that one ache on his left shoulder was gone - but telling Raditz that while Goku had yet to come back would probably leave him in a tricky situation. "Now will you calm down?"

"I -" The long- haired boy huffed and sat in front of the smaller male. "Fine. But you need to tell me what happened."

"After, first we need to talk." Vegeta could see the gears turning in his head. He sighed and rubbed his temple. "No, I'm not talking about what happened in the bedroom just now." He ignored the blush that formed on Raditz's face. "Did you manage to Bribe the old man for info?"

"We were supposed to do that?" Nappa spoke up, carrying a beer can in his hand. "I thought we we're just gonna talk about it, nothing else, y'know?"

Vegeta turned to the bald man, agape. "Are you kidding?! I needed you guys to do that while Kakarot took me away!"
