Goku grabbed the spare clothes left behind by Bulma the last time she came by and switched them out with his hospital ones.

"70 years," He mumbled as he fumbled with the shirt. "70 years and he's still too stubborn to ask for help." He sighed as he opened the door and walked out of his room. "Always doing things by himself."

Goku avoided any doctors and nurses that came by while thinking of where Vegeta was. If he was the same Vegeta in his dream, then the prince was going to do something that would certainly get him killed. Goku couldn't allow that to happen again, but he had no idea where the other was. He opened the doors of the hospital and walked into the street. He couldn't search for his lover's - was he even allowed to call him that anymore? - ki, he felt too weak to raise his own.

"Ugh . . ." Goku groaned and rubbed his head. He stopped in the middle of the streets and groaned loudly. "Why is thinking always so hard?! How did Vegeta and everyone do this so easily?"

"Mr. Goku?" A small voice interrupted Goku's complaints, catching his attention. He turned to see Tarble standing behind him, an uneasy look on his face. "What are you doing here? I thought you were still in the hospital?"

"Tarble!" Goku beamed and hugged him tightly. "Yes! You can help me find Vegeta!"

"Hold on-!" The highschooler panicked when Goku picked him up and spun him around in joy. He tried to get out of Goku's hold. "Mr. Goku, please let go! I don't know where my brother is! Put me down, please!"

Goku suddenly stopped and put Tarble down. The smile he had was gone. "What do you mean?"

"I- I mean that- hold on-" Tarble took a few breaths and tried to calm his nerves. He had a big fear of heights, and Tarble thought he would have broken his bones if Goku dropped him. "Vegeta went through the window. Like- he just jumped out and- . . . well, I don't think you'd believe me if I told you."

Goku grinned. There were plenty of things Vegeta could have done after jumping out the window. "Well I can try! What did he do?"

"He um," Tarble looked to the side. "Well, he flew Mr. Goku. Like, he gave off a strong aura as he was just floating in the air, before he took off." He pursed his lips. "Did you know about this?"

"Um . . . sort of?" Goku scratched his cheek and tried to imagine what he was told just now. It made sense for Vegeta to just up - and - leave whenever he felt like it, moreso in the most exaggerated way possible. But then the same question remains; where did Vegeta go? "Do you know which direction he went?"

Tarble nodded and pointed behind him, to the direction of the forest. "I saw him fly to the tall tower in there, the one that was abandoned?" He shook his head, confused. "But why would he go there? There's nothing there, not even a secret door to go through."

Goku looked at the forest Tarble mentioned and his eyes widened at the tower. Well that was good to know. "That's because what's supposed to be there is above the clouds." He beamed and hugged Tarble again, scaring the poor boy. "Thanks, Tarble! Man, Vegeta's got such a great brother!"

Tarble squeaked and looked at the burly man. He smiled awkwardly. "Y-you're welcome? How does that help you?"

"Because now I know where he is!" Goku let go of the boy and cupped his hands around his mouth. He took a deep breath and yelled out to his old companion. "Nimbus!"

A few seconds passed, and Goku started to worry. Did the cloud no longer exist? He couldn't have lost a friend that soon. It hadn't been that long since he died, right? Goku looked up to the sky and grinned. Above him was his old cloud Nimbus, zooming down to land in front of him. The yellow cloud floated above the surface, awaiting its orders. Goku cheered and hugged it, joy filling his body. Oh how he missed it.
