Chapter 17

We rest for a moment in the inn, suddenly we fell asleep without knowing it. After we wake up, we eat our dinner, it looks like it was 7pm already.

I was the last one to wake up so I found them sitting around the table.

"Come on here, let's eat" Fiore said.

I rose up from the bed and I almost forgot we're in the sun village because of this cozy inn. This is like heaven in this place, since the temperature of the place is always burning high.

We did get the chance to take a bath in the inn, but as expected the water is warm.

After eating I'm the last one also to take a bath, after I enter the bathroom, I opened the faucet and fill the bathtub. I slowly dip my body in the lukewarm water in the tub, this relieves all the stress in our journey.

I take a rest in the bathtub since I was the last one, I can stay here for a while.

After a while, I get out of the bathroom, and I see them sitting on the bed in the middle. So I sat there also, to start our meeting.

"So tomorrow our plan is to get our hoods in the tailor, then head to the Hamamelis, it just only takes half a day for us to reach the Empire" Fiore said.

"We need to move fast tomorrow or else we will get exhausted in the heat" Hailey added.

"So, we are that near to the Empire? " I asked.

"Yes, we are so near" Hailey added.

"Get a good night sleep everyone, we need energy tomorrow" Fiore said.

And the tomorrow came, we put everything we need on our bags and cover it with the clothes we buy. Later on, after we prepare, we pay the inn and then head out of it.

Once again we feel the scorching heat of the outside, we head our way to the tailor.

"We're here to get the hoods" Fiore said.

"Wait for a while Sir, I'm gonna get it," the woman said, and then turn her back to the storage room.

It takes a while before the tailor gets back, she was holding a 3 bag of black clothes. She put it in the cashier desk, that must be the hoods we ordered to her.

"Here it is, Sir" the tailor said.

We put our hoods to ourselves, this fits perfectly for us. Fiore gives the payment, and after that we leave and start again walking.

Slowly, the heat became lesser and lesser, this is the sign that we're leaving the Sun Village.

In just a while we came to a road which is a busy road, there's a lot of wagon traveling this road. If I'm not wrong the way the wagons go is the way to the Empire of Hamamelis.

"We're gonna follow those wagons, those are going to the Hamamelis" Fiore said.

We walked that path where the wagons go, so we don't get lost our way to the Hamamelis. We need to walk fast since, the wagons are normally fast because it is being pulled by horse.

"Are you guys going to the Hamamelis too? " a guy said, riding a wagon.

"Yes" we answered him.

"Hi, I'm Leonardo, hop in I'm going to the Hamamelis too, " he said as he stops his wagon.

We don't refuse his offer since we need to go there as soon as possible. So we hop into Leonardo's wagon and rest ourselves inside.

"You don't need to worry my wagon didn't go to inspections since this is for perishable goods and it was bad too delay" Leonardo said.

"It was a good thing, " I said.

We travelled for a while, and later on the wagon stops, "What happen? " I ask.

We just need to wait for the gate to open, we came too early that the gate is still close. We get down from the wagon, since we don't have anything to do there.

We walked around the wagons for us to be entertained while waiting.

"Guys, let's go the gate is opening" Leonardo shouted.

We run towards his wagon and jump into it and cover ourselves again with our hoods.

The wagons started to move slowly, entering the empire of Hamamelis. The Hamamelis is different from other villages and country we came.

After we enter the gate we saw the peoples wearing black hoods, just like our hoods.

"Stay quiet" Leonardo said.

We have successfully entered the Empire, Leonardo turn right and stop the wagon to some hidden spot of the country. We go down the wagon silently and bid our goodbye to Leonardo.

"If ever you need help again just look for me" He said.

We start roaming around laying low so no one notices us, we started looking for a good hidding spot.

Luckily we found some dark alley in the middle of the town and it is near the castle. We observe everything in the castle, the guard rotation, and the wagons coming in and out.

We wait here until the perfect time to come into the castle.

We started to wait for the night to come, we will sneak into the castle at the night time, since there are only a few guards roaming around in the night.

"This is the right time, follow me" Fiore said.

We run towards the walls of the castle, we saw two guards at the gate. This is great, I throw rocks to the bushes not so far from the gate, they run towards it to check what was it.

While they were away we sneak into the castle this was big.

"Shh!" Fiore signed us to be quiet.

There were two other guards marching and roaming around the castle corridors. So we hide in the big pillars beside the walls so that they can't see us.

We looked every room we passed by, so we can be sure we don't miss the room where the princess may be prisoned.
