Where Would We Go? (Aclasiasta Series #1)

Chapter 18

Suddenly, while we are looking for the room where the princess is held. We accidentally opened a room where the knights are resting we slowly closes the door.

"That was close" Fiore said.

We all sighed and continue our search for the princess, we need to find her as soon as possible.

"Have you heard? There is a gorgeous princess in the castle" a knight said.

"Yeah, and there is a rumor that she was about to marry Prince Klyde" the other knight said.

We continue to listen to their conversation, hoping we find out where the princess's room. But we failed, they just know what's about to happen to princess, but they didn't know where in the castle is the princess.

We go down the basement and all the way up to the tower, but we couldn't find her.

"There must be a hidden room in this castle" I said.

"You must be right, we've searched for almost three hours, but we couldn't find the princess" Hailey said.

We seated in the storage room for a while so we can rest, we are all tired walking and roaming around the castle. But not a while later, we've heard ladies' voices walking towards the storage room.

We hide at the back of the barrels in case they enter, they can't find us here.

We hold our breath like they can hear it, and they actually came in the storage room. I cover my mouth, trying not to make any unnecessary noise that they can hear.

"Have you heard the news? There is a princess held in the room of Prince Klyde" one of the maid said.

"Oww, I heard she was there a week ago" the other one said.

So that's it the princess is in the room of prince Klyde, we just need to look for his room. I guess his room would be in the top level of the castle.

After the maids get out of the storage room Fiore signal us to go out silently.

We run towards the stairs and start looking for the room of the prince. We run to the top floor of the castle and start looking for the room.

We separated to make our job easier, and after a while me and Fiore came to see each other.

"Have you found anything? " he said.

"I look every room that way, but I didn't see anything? " I said while pointing the way at my back.

"By the way, where is Hailey? " Fiore said.

"You don't know too? I thought she ran towards the same direction as you go" I said.

"She didn't, " Fiore said.

We now run looking for both Hailey and the princess, we look together so we avoid unnecessary lost and fights.

We want to shout to look for Hailey but we can't if we make unnecessary noise the guards will be alerted. So we need to minimize our voices and the noise we make.

"Hailey are you here? " We whispered as we opened a dark room.

We don't receive any reply from the inside so we went to the other room. We need to move a little faster since it was midnight, we need to rescue both of them before the sun rises.

"We just have a little bit of time we need to look for them a little faster" Fiore said.

We again heard the footsteps of the guards running towards a one direction. They seemed very alert so we think it was about Hailey, so we follow them.

We walked all the way to a what seems to be a hallway with a room at the end.

We don't see that room earlier so I guess that was the last room here. Maybe there was the princess, and maybe also Hailey was there too.

"You, who is there in the room of the princess get out at once! " a knight shouted.

We are waiting for someone to get out of the room, but there is no one coming out.

I think Hailey is in there, because she is stubborn and no one can order her except us. We just follow what the three of us want to do, and also what the King wants to do.

They don't want to enter the room, but they need the unexpected guess in that room.

"We need you to surrender at once, go outside now and face the king" the knight again said.
The knight raises its hand and signal the knights, he started counting from five. I guess they're gonna break in if there is no one came out after he reaches one.

It's been a while since the knight counted, and it was in three, then we heard some footsteps coming from our behind.

We hid ourselves so that whoever is coming, didn't see us and didn't capture us. And we are shocked who approaches the knights it was the prince.

He walked into the front of the door of the room where we think Hailey was.

He knocked three times on the door and then steps back, he waited with the knights. "You have five seconds to come out of there, " he said calmly.

I think this is the right time for us to enter and rescue whoever inside the room.

So I look to Fiore, giving him the look that we need to go there and save them. And Fiore nodded as a sign that he agrees with me and my plan.

We bragged to the first three knights in the back until they noticed us.

"Well, well, well, look who's here? The famous mercenary of the Bergania... It's been a long time Fiore" Prince Klyde said.

So they know each other, I guess they faught each other in the past, since Hamamelis and Bergania is enemies.

"Do we need to fight again? You know you can't win against me, actually you don't win even once" Fiore said with a grin in his face.

Prince Klyde seems to be upset, his eyes are furiously looking to Fiore. I guess what's Fiore said seems to be true and right, that's why Klyde was upset.
