Chapter 19

The knights are aiming for us, we don't have any choice now but to fight them.

"Do you think I will waste my time to you, Fiore" Klyde said.

He has a big grin in his face, as if he has a big advantage in this situation. But he was wrong, we can defeat these knights easily, they are nothing compared to the guardians of the dark forest.

"Do you think six knights would be enough to defeat us? Us, who killed the four Gullinbursti? you're kidding right?" Fiore asks.

The grin on Prince Klyde face suddenly disappears and change by an angry face. I just noticed he was so easy to provoke, I guess we will fight him in a matter of time.

"You! Bastard! Knights kill them! " Klyde shouted.

The knights rushed to us engaging their attacks, we don't want to kill anyone, we want to lessen the casualties.

So we only dodge them and dodge them while we can, but when we have no choice we're gonna counter them and attack them. While dodging the attacks of the knights I saw the door of the room slightly opens.

I saw Hailey peeping outside, when she saw me, I signal her to stay in there for a while.

Then I looked into Fiore, then he immediately turned off all the light sources. We have a big advantage in the dark since we stayed a while in the dark forest.

"Idiots! Light up a candle! There are only two of them what does make them difficult to kill" Prince Klyde shouted in anger.

I jumped to the back of the knight and slash his neck, the blood spits out of his neck.

There is a lot of blood spilled on the floor and walls of the corridor where we are. I killed three of them and Fiore killed the other three leaving behind Prince Klyde.

I light up a candle to show him the situation, his face is now scared and he is trembling in his view of the dead knights and the bloods all over.

"What happened?! Those bastards! " Klyde said angrily.

"Now, you are the only one left" Fiore said teasing Klyde.

He panic to pick a weapon of the armor in the display near him, he then draw the sword and pointed it to Fiore. I think he just want to fight Fiore alone, do I leave this to Fiore?

"Leave this to me, I'm gonna finish this immediately" Fiore said.

"You're an air-headed fool, you're gonna lose" Klyde said to Fiore.

He runs towards Fiore and start swaying the big sword, his disadvantage here is, his sword is too big for him to handle. He just keeps swaying and swaying it without any plan or attack pattern.

In the other hand, Fiore can easily dodge his attacks, he was teasing Klyde, yawning while dodging Klyde's attacks.

"Grrr!! " Klyde was being baited, and now he is more out of mind.

The sound of the swords are ringing around the hallway, I think we just have a plenty of time before the knights came here.

Klyde's attacks are now more reckless than the earlier once, while Fiore was just jumping around dodging his attacks. While I'm here at their back fighting knights who came here to check what's happening.

The fight lasted for almost an hour, but it was clearly a one sided fight in favor of Fiore.

"We need to finish this already..." Fiore said.

"Yes, the sun is soon to rise, we need to rush" I answer.

Fiore begin to fight him seriously, and Prince Klyde is being pushed away. This shows me that Fiore is more capable than Prince Klyde, he only relies on his knights.

When Fiore pushes him back to the wall, he cannot move anymore, he didn't have any choice. There is no knight to rescue him because I handle them all.

"You lose Klyde" Fiore said.

He slams his sword to the neck of the prince so he will fall asleep.

We don't have any reason to kill him, so we don't need to kill him. The only thing left is the one's who is inside the room where the knight was bragging earlier.

*Knock-knock-knock*
"Hailey are you in there? " Fiore asks.

There wasn't any reply we get so we continue knocking the door, they must be hiding in the room's closet.

"Hailey this is me, Xyren" I shouted.

I heard footsteps yet it takes time, but they still didn't open the door. Why are they not opening the door? It is us, do they don't recognize our voice?

The door slowly opens and we already see the inside of the room and it was dark. We can't see anything but only shadows of two girls, I guess it was Hailey and the Princess.

"Hailey is the princess in there? " Fiore asks.

"Yeah, she's here but... I guess we have a little bit of a problem" Hailey answered.

I walked into the room and see my wife standing beside Hailey, but there are no other people in there except the two of them.

"Where is the princess? I'm glad you saw my wife" I said.

Fiore seems to be confused and Hailey is a bit sad, I can't catch up what is happening here. I run into my wife and hugged her I didn't see her for a long time, I missed her so much.

"I miss you so much" I whispered.

"I'm sorry if I make you worry about me hon" she said.

I released her and face the two, Fiore and Hailey, Fiore is still confused about what is happening.

"Fiore, Hailey this is my wife Alicia Alodius" I said as I introduced my wife.

Fiore looked to Hailey with a still confused face, I think he was confused why the princess is not here.

"What is this Hailey?" Fiore asks

"So that's the problem I just found out that the Princess Catherine and Alicia Alodius is only one person" Hailey said.
