That would be Because of Satsuki as after Houjou Academy fused together with Star Academy there had been A Massive competition amongst the students Just to get A Place high in Satsuki's Graces, and many of them had been Placed in Slums because of their poor potential!

Satsuki maybe was Just A Student but she had plenty of Influence, and Power to Just to throw around, and after Her and Ryujo's Mother *Cough Cough* Died she inherited everything including her Quadrillions, Kamui Factories, and even that Bitch's Properties such as the school itself!

Her Sister Ryuko doesn't get along too much with her, as even though they have dinner together every night and bond over dumping all over their dead Mother, They still have completely different views as Satsuki is Kind of A Fascist as she was raised that way, and Ryuko Just thinks of Freedom as she raised herself that way!

You then Instantly Transmitted to the school as Ryuko ran towards the school, and Meanwhile, that was Happening Mako was strapped to A Device where if she doesn't escape in time she would be battered and Fried like A Piece of Tempora Chicken! She was Also being held upside down!

The Machine was about to set off when you appeared in front of her and undid her locks and got her out of there before A Bunch of Guys Tried to Jump the two of you, but you doged out of the way, and they all Got Fried!
