Let's eat after class! My treat," yaya ko kila Hailey and Veronica. Tinignan naman ako ng dalawa na nanlalaki ang mga mata at ayaw pa maniwala sa mga tinuran ko.
"Wow! Wow! Wow!" Veronica chanted while clapping her hands. "Ikaw ba talaga 'yan, Elysia," hindi makapaniwala na saad nito.
"What's the reason why you want to treat us?" asked by Hailey.
"Baka naman mawawala ka na sa earth kaya gusto mong magpaplus points kay Lord kaya ka manlilibre ngayon?" Gusto ko na talagang masapok 'tong si Veronica.
"Kung last day ko na sa earth, 'di ko na kailangan magpaplus points. Sa bait ko ba namang 'to? Baka sobra-sobra na ang points ko," I said as I flipped my hair twice.
"Iba ata definition mo ng mabait, Elysia," naiiling na sabi ni Veronica.
"Nanalo ka ba sa lotto?" Hailey asked jokingly.
"Ang dami mong tanong, Hailey," pagsusungit ni Veronica.
"You also asked questions earlier pero 'di naman kita pinuna," Hailey fought back.
"Hayan na naman kayo...." sita ko sa kanilang dalawa. I feel like I'm transforming into a mother whenever I'm with these two dahil ko sa kakasaway ko sa kanila.
"Siya naman kasi laging nauuna," Hailey murmured.
"Parang mga bata. We're going to be in our second year yet you two still don't change.." And take note, they are still carrying their past grudges toward each other.
Malay ko ba sa mga 'to. I don't know how they managed to be in each other's company every day and still have hatred towards each. I'm also confused why they don't want to talk about their past to fix it.
Ayaw ko na naman na silang piliting dalawa na mag-usap kasi labas naman na ako sa issue nila. Tataas kasi ng mga pride ng mga 'to.
"Hala, it's our last day of our first year of life na pala today," malungkot na turan ni Hailey.
"Kami lang, 'no," I smirked. Hailey frowned while Veronica started to laugh silently.
"Ha?" the confused Hailey asked.
I put my elbow on the table and laid my head on my hand. I looked at Hailey with my sad eyes.
"Hindi ka ba informed? Kasama ka sa summer class." At doon na hindi napigilan ni Veronica ang pagtawa ng malakas. I chuckled and fixed how I sat when I saw Hailey's frowning face.
"Kaya ka ba manlilibre dahil end na ng school year?" tanong ni Veronica na nakarecover na sa pagtawa.
"Nadali mo."
Days passed like a blur. Parang dati medyo kinakabahan pa ako na naeexcite na pumasok sa college pero ngayon tapos ko na ang unang year. Ang saya lang kasi nakasurvive na ako ng isang taon pero marami pang taon na kailangan kong tiisin para matapos na 'to!
Like I said, I treat them after our class. Nilibre ko sila sa tusok-tusok.
They ate a lot. That was why I spent a lot. I spent around 150 yet they even had the urge to complain?! After they ate, instead of hearing thank yous from them, I heard their complaints instead.
Grabe, I don't deserve these kinds of friends.
Bakit daw doon ko sila nilibre at hindi sa mamahaling restaurant.
At demanding pa! Kala mo naman hindi sila sarap na sarap at hindi marami ang nakain nila. Dapat nga mga thank you sila dahil once in a blue moon lang ako nanlilibre.
Pagkatapos ko ilibre ang mga ungrateful fake friends ko, I went straight to ate's place to fix my things. Bukas na bukas na rin kasi ay uuwi na ako sa 'min.
