"You're too early for work." I told him as I watch him get inside his massive closet.

"What?" he came back to ask.

"I said you're too early for work." I told him.

"I'm meeting Camilla." He replied. I don't know what to say now. I don't think it's a good idea to think about Camilla early this morning.

"Ohh." I said.

"Where are my shoes?" he then asked.

"At the drawer to your left." I told him.

Camilla kept calling last night. She insisted that we meet before I go to work. I bet my old self hated having a sister with all this bothering and ranting from her.

"You made it." Camilla said.

"Why did you ask me to come here?" I asked her.

"This is going to be your apartment. You are going to stay here." she said.

"Camilla, I'm not going to stay here even if you want to." I told her.

"If this is about your children, we can ask the lawyer to take them from Madison." Camilla said.

"We talked about this, Madison is their mother. I can't just take them away from her." I told her.

"Or you don't want to be away from her?" Camilla said.

No, I jus don't want you to take control of me. I'm not your puppet, I'm not going to let you use me to take control of everything. I need to be careful, I need to be smart at this game.

"No." I told her.

"I should go." I told her.

"Wait!" she stopped me.

"You know if it's not for me you're still in that little town selling dusty old books. So please listen to me." she told me.

I like that more, selling  dusty old books instead of arguing with her.

"I know that, but if you look very close; I'm your older brother. You don't have to boss me around. I may not remember anything, but I can still make my own decisions." I told her.

I left her there.

At the office, the staff kept on looking at me. They still think I came out of a grave.

"You're alone?" Jeremiah appeared.

"Yes" I told him.

"Well, I think you need take in mind that you need security." he said.

"Oh, I haven't thought about that when I got here." I told him.

"I'll arrange security for you if you want to." he said. I think I can trust him, I can't think of any reason for him to betray me. Unless he wanted to own the company.

"How's Madison?" he asked.

"She's fine." I told him.

"You know it's a big thing for her, you coming back. And the fact that you lost your memories, it's going to be difficult." Jeremiah said.

"Yes." I told him.

"I must be going, there are so many papers I got to sign." he said.

"Alright." I told him.

-------------------

Later on, a man kept staring at me whenever I came out. I am deeply annoyed by his action, and so I approached him.

"Excuse me, is there something you have to say to me? I noticed you keep staring at me" I told him.

"Sir!" he said then he gave me a hug.

"I've missed you so much!" he said.

"Thank you, but who are you?" I asked him.

"I'm Dylan! I was your assistant back in the day" he said.

"We should talk inside my office." I told him. I think I can learn from him.

"So how long did you work for me?" I asked him.

"Well I was your assistant for about 6 years, then Mrs. Newman, your wife promoted me when you passed away." he said.

"I was even there at your wedding with Relina. We are the only two people to be there for you. I still remember that day." Dylan started to be more emotional.

"Relina? Who is she?" I asked him.

"Relina was your maid and Mrs. Newman's closest friend. She passed away when your mother-in-law's boyfriend tried to steal money from your home." Dylan said.

"I don't remember any of that." I told him.

"If you're confused about anything, you can ask me. I know things that might help you understand." he said.

"Well, I guess you're going to work for me again as my assistant. How would you like that?" I told him.

"with the same salary as you have now." I added.

"Sir, I'm honored to work for you again." he said.

"Excellent." I told him.

It's comforting to think that I'm with my kids doing my best as their mother, not thinking about working for Elmyra and all the crazy stuff about Camilla. I felt normal having to take them and pick them up from school. My mother now have so much time to spend with her friends at the neighborhood.

"It's Daddy!" Artie said as he and Alec run to him.

"You're early." I told him.

"I finished early." he told me.

"Daddy, are you staying here forever?" Alec asked.

"Of course." he replied.

"Yes!!" Alec sounded happy. I wish we can be like this forever without the problems.

"Do you need anything?" I asked him.

"Water, some water please." he said.

"Alright." I told him. I got him a glass of water as he relax at the couch with the children next to him.

"How's school?" he asked Artie and Alec.

"Miss Hanna gave me a star, look daddy." Alec said as he shows his hand.

I looked at them, then Charles looked at me. I looked away, I don't want to ruin their time together.

"I'll go see Alana if she's awake." I told them.

"If Charles is with us, then who the hell did we bury on his grave?" Luke spoke.

"It's what we have to know." Camilla replied

"But to think of it, the only one left missing was Charles from all the attendees and staff." Luke said

"Maybe it's just a coincidence" Camilla said

"But the man found had Charles' phone in his pocket." Luke reminded her

"Who can he be?"
