3 days before my 34th birthdayReliving painful memories in life is often like
Facing a demonic mirrored version
Of oneself.
A dark one who mocks and mimics,
Performing exaggerated gimmicks
To taunt and tease the rivets
Of every bleeding, unhealed scar. The journey to retribution
Is more than far away.
We're never here to stay,
As they say and you all very well know.
Love and peace exists in limited quantity,
Conquered by the countless battles
Of hate versus greed.
Humanity's need for balance…
For righteous and sin.
