Hi! I'm Astra Leung. 15 years old, a demigod daughter of Poseidon. And yes, I am the younger half-sister of Percy "i'm the sassgod omg" Jackson. Ugh. Anyways, I live at Camp Half-Blood, Long Island. I guess I should probably start at the beginning.
Ok, so, I was diagnosed with ADHD and quite mild OCD when I was around 5-ish? Yeah, around that. I was your average greek (and other subjects) nerd, up until soon after I turned 9.
Fast forward to the month after my 9th birthday.
It started off as a pretty normal day, I was just chilling with a book and reading about the 12 Labors of Hercules (again), and then, all of a sudden, there was this girl knocking at my bedroom window. She had blonde curly hair, and an orange t-shirt that said Camp Half-Blood with a neigh-neigh pegasus underneath. The girl looked around 23 years old. Later I found out her name was Annabeth (yes, the girlfriend of Percy).
Anyways, back to that moment. She was knocking at the window, standing in a freaking chariot, pulled by pegasi like the one on her t-shirt! I opened the window cautiously, ready to yeet my book at her head. It could do some damage (firsthand experience). She instantly said, "I mean no harm, just let me explain." so I slowly lowered my book. She looked at my book and said "Hercules. Interesting."
"You sound like you've met him before."
She shrugged. "No, but my boyfriend and my other friend have."
"Wait, what? You're kidding me!" She shook her head. "Nope. We live in a world full of Greek gods and myths. Daughter of Athena here." I gasped. It sounded exciting! The girl said "My name's Annabeth. Nice to meet you." I shook her hand and replied, "Nice to meet you too." Annabeth then looked around my room and told me to pack. "Why?" I wondered. She said there wasn't time to explain and that she would tell me on the way.
"To Camp Half-Blood, I guess?" She nodded, looking slightly surprised. I tilted my head toward her t-shirt, then quickly packed my necessary items - clothes, some food supplies, a couple of books, my dagger-sword (it's a medium length) that I was still training with, and a small photo album of family photos, pocket journal size. To remind me of my family. It was me, my mom and my little brother and sister. Then I realised. "What about my family?" Annabeth said they used the Mist. I was soo confused. I couldn't wait until the explaining session happened.
So, I hopped into the chariot with my backpack and she started to explain.
