Anyways, back to the battle. It was tough but we kept on fighting. Arya still stood there, in a trance, staring at a young ghost of a girl in front of her. Before I realised it, a ghost soldier almost stabbed me so I quickly parried it and ran back into the fight.
That's when I noticed Dolores had stopped fighting, too. She stood with glazed eyes, opposite of a boy around our age too. It was just me and Amara left, and the struggle between us and the ghosts intensified.
Soon, Amara was swept away in the crowd and when I saw a glimpse of her, she stared with empty eyes at what looked like another Huntress.
Now I was the only one left. I wondered why nothing had happened to me.
I managed to fight my way through the ghosts and found myself standing behind her. I snuck up behind her and yelled into her ear, "SURPRISE ATTACK!" whilst she was controlling the entities. I quickly dived back into the swarm of ghosts and she whirled around. "WHAT WAS THAT?"
I hoped that one of the others would be able to join the fight so I decided to try and keep stalling her. I leaped onto Thanaia and wrestled her. Luckily, my flask of water that I always kept by my side now hadn't fallen off, surprisingly. I used it to gain some strength and kept on fighting her.
Suddenly, a flurry of arrows flew between me and Thanaia. Finally!
Thanaia was startled and we used this distraction. Arya ran over to us and whack Thanaia with her bow.
Soon enough, Dolores and Amara joined us in the fight and we all worked together like a well oiled machine, kicking, punching, slicing and whacking.
Thanaia raised her hands, sending a flurry of black daggers towards Amara and Dolores. We all dodged but Amara was slower and three daggers embedded in her gut.
"NO!!"
We all ran over to Amara and she looked like she was......fading?
Dolores threw Amara over her shoulder like an "AmErICaN foOTbAlL' player. Let's just call it rugby, ok? I don't even know why they call it 'AmEriCaN fOotBaLl'. You don't even use your feet, do you? NO.
Whoops, getting very, very off track. Anyways, we ran out of the temple and I could hear Thanaia's evil cackles.
