If you thought this was a peaceful first night, oh no no, you were wrong.

I reached the Hermes cabin. It looked quite large, and I could hear a lot of talking from inside. I slowly opened the door, not expecting what came next.

A boy and a pair of twins came up to me.

"Hi! I'm Cecil. Are you the new camper Annabeth told us about?"

One of the twins said, "I'm Connor." The other one said, "And I'm Travis!"

"Yes, I am the new camper" I said nervously. "Nice to meet you, Cecil, Connor and Travis!"

I unpacked a couple of things that I needed to get ready for bed, then re-locked my backpack (you never know if you'll need it). Annabeth had told me that the Hermes cabin kids loved to play pranks and steal things, so that's why I brought the lock and I got ready for bed, going over to an empty bunk.

I got into the bed, then put my things next to me and closed my eyes, ready to fall asleep. But then, I heard the twins (I think) talking.

"Oh, let's prank the new girl!" one of them said.

The other one exclaimed, "Let's do the whipped cream in her hand prank!"

I could practically hear them grinning.

They sprayed the whipped cream onto my hand and waved a feather over my face. I was really tempted to itch it, but then I realised I could just use my other hand, which they had not sprayed.

So I did that, acting like I was asleep, then I whacked the whipped cream hand on one of their faces. And wiped my hand clean on the other one's hair, because I'm pretty sure one of them kneeled down to put the cream in my hand.

"Hey!" one of them said. I opened my eyes slowly and almost burst out laughing at the sight.

Connor had whipped cream on his face and Travis was on the floor, aggressively wiping the cream off his head. It wasn't really working, though. The clock struck midnight, and then I said, "Guys, go to sleep. You'll need it."

They begrudgingly agreed, and we all got back into bed.

I finally fell asleep!
