Chapter 18: We're All Going To Die *sobs*

It was time for us to leave. We left, just the 3 of us. We had almost reached a train station and Arya asked, "Do you know where we're going?".

"Delphi, duh." I said.

Amara's eyes lit up. "I know where Delphi is! The Hunt went there once, to talk to Apollo. We beat him up though, when he said Natasha was hot." 

Arya and I looked at her with a blank look. I think the thought running through both our heads were clear. WHAT IN THE FRICKING WHAA??

I just decided to drop it. I asked Amara a couple of questions about the location of Delphi, and Arya just stayed quiet in front of us. There was a crunch, and Arya stopped. I barely heard it, so I just ignored it but we both crashed into Arya. She didn't flinch. Someone or something was watching us. 

We heard a low growl and we all unsheathed our weapons. 

"DUCK!" A voice yelled suddenly. All of us ducked and the Chimera jumped out over of us. It fell into a pit full of sharp stones and sticks. The Chimera landed in the ditch and a lot of arrows hit it and the Chimera turned to dust. *pOOf*. A figure jumped down from a tree, and when they approached I saw it was Dolores, one of Arya's sisters. Had she been stalking us? It sure looked like it, because she was wearing a giant parka that covered her short hair.

"What are you doing here?" Arya asked. 

"Well, you know that story of Percy cheating the system and following Clarisse on her quest?" Dolores started.

"Yeeaaaahhhhhh?" Amara responded.

"Wellll, I basically did the same thinngggg..."

"When?" Arya asked.

"Juuusssttt now." Dolores looked at us. Actually it was more like she looked at Amara.

I could literally see Amara blushing a bit. Seriously? That was fast. I mean, I wasn't against it or anything. To be honest, I kind of shipped it. Amares. Wait, what?

I was getting off track now. I focused my mind and thoughts towards the quest. Right now we needed to get to the train station. We set off and reached the train station. It was a bit complicated because Dolores had decided (more like ordered) to come with us. Somehow, Amara got another ticket and gave it to Dolores. They were both turning into strawberries.

I was screaming SSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! inside my head. 

"FliGht A45 To dElphI! BoARd nOw!" The speaker announced WAY TOO CHEERFULLY. That left Arya and Dolores going covering their ears. Me and Amara were fine.

"We gotta get on the plane!" Amara exclaimed. I groaned. I was trying to avoid going on the plane for as long as possible. I hated quests that involved flying in a plane. I made sure all of my 58 barf bags were in my hidden backpack stash. Arya and Dolores were still covering their ears.

We ran to the boarding area. All of us got into seats and patiently (well, not really) waited.

Finally, FINALLY the plane was ready for us to board and we got on. I held my breath. The stench of planes were always unbearable. I really hated the smell of new stuff, for some reason. Old, old stuff was also terrible. The best were things that I knew, and was familiar with. Unfortunately, there weren't much in that category. 

Obviously I used all of my barf bags on that trip, including a bucket that had to be thrown away as soon as we landed. Let me tell you, it was NOT a pretty sight.

We got a cab, drove to the hotel and luckily, the Mist made Dolores look like an adult. When we reached the hotel, we all unpacked a bit and then went out to check out the area we were staying in. Soon enough, we reached a crossroads and I asked, "Which way do we go?"

Amara answered, "Let's goaaaaAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" The roads transformed into slides, and we all slipped down different paths. Everyone was screaming, except me. But inside, I was yelling like heck.

At some point, Arya, Amara and I saw each other, and our slides merged together. It was getting more squished, with me being worried about flattening them at the bottom of wherever this slide led.

A thought suddenly occurred to me. What if the slide DIDN'T END?!?! It could have been a curse to kill everyone! I panicked.

It happened so abruptly. I remember my life had literally flashed before my eyes and I was saying, "PLEASENOI'MTOOYOUNGTODIE!!!" 

Then, we all landed on our butts in front of a Medusa head and a snake head. I freaked out, wondering if this was when I was going to die. There were no exits present.

I wondered how I was going to get out of this one.
