It was time to go back to our cabins again, so I ran ahead to the Hermes cabin and picked up my backpack. Then, I ran over to the Poseidon cabin, which was a beautiful shade of grey-ish blue. I peeked inside and the walls were decorated with underwater plants and coral. It looked amazing!
"Welcome to the Poseidon cabin." someone behind me said. I spun around and saw Percy leaning on the doorframe.
"So..." I started.
"We're siblings? Yep." He grinned and came over, ruffling my hair. "This is going to be fun."
My first night in the Poseidon cabin was bliss. I slept on the top bunk of a bed opposite from Percy's. The sounds of running water were surprisingly soothing! I fell asleep almost immediately.
The next morning, I woke up to a stream of water about to pour on my head! It seemed like there was a leak in the fish tank that was the roof of the Poseidon cabin. I think I forgot to mention that.
Luckily, I dodged out of the way in time as the water came rushing down. It SOAKED the bed. I tentatively raised my hand and summoned the water to come out of the mattress. It worked! I was still experimenting with my water abilities when Percy woke up.
He said, "Cabin inspection's soon. I think it's Will today?"
We cleaned up our things quickly, which didn't take too long. After a couple of minutes, Will Solace came in and nodded with respect, looking around.
He left with a thumbs up at us, writing onto his papyrus scroll.
