Chapter 23: Father

1 month of being together with Samuel on one roof is one of the most rewarding feeling ever. Imagine after a tiring day, we get to see each other and the tiredness is all gone like magic. Seth on the other hand enjoyed his new room. Of course it's bigger than what we had in our last apartment, Samuel really added a drawing desk for Seth. It's called drafting table daw, eh I don't know anything about that "special" table.

My business has been growing and growing ever since Samuel posted my cake on Instagram. His co-workers now order in my cafe and sometimes have meetings there too. While Samuel continues to rise, being a structural engineer. We're both growing and maturing well.

"I'm glad to see everyone here, especially my Ate Sandra whom I remember as the one who pushed me to have a cafe. To Kuya Richard who is always willing to help and understanding also. And of course to my two boys – Seth and Samuel, thank you for being the one who sugarcoated me with compliments whenever you get a taste of my new recipes. To my best friends, Amy and Mica, no more long speeches for both of you but I'm forever grateful."

"Kami lang to" Amy shouted from the crowd causing the people to laugh.

"Now, Sweet Treats cafe branch 3 is officially open!"

Nagpalakpakan ang mga tao and Samuel raised Seth and Seth is the one who cut the big red bow signifying that branch 3 is now open.

Napadali ang construction nito dahil tumulong si Samuel especially with the expenses. This branch is bigger with 2 floors and 4 private rooms giving opportunity to a private meetings or private barkadahan get together. Wala na sanang ganung pakulo pero si Samuel ang nag revised ng plan at mabuti naman ay nagawan ng paraan ng Architect ko.

Maraming mga taong dumalo especially that we have some promo and bundle deals on going for our opening promo.

Hindi ko lubos marealize na kung noon ay nagtitinda lang ako ng brownies na gawa namin ni ate Sab ay nagresulta ng mas malaking negosyo at ngayon ay may branch 3 na.

I noticed Mica is still with John while Amy is with a new guy named Ronnie daw. Ronnie is a Medical Representative, no wonder they both crossed paths. My two best friends look genuinely happy so I don't have to question the man in their lives.

While Seth is running around with the kids, he's probably hyped because of the chocolates that are very evident in his shirt.

"Samuel" I called him and he excused himself from his friends

"Yes baby?" Nilagay niya agad ang kanyang kamay sa aking beywang bringing us closer. Oh, this small things he do to me makes me weak that quick.

"Don't "baby" me. Look at Seth. His shirt is covered with chocolates. I told you to let him stay away from the chocolate fountain." I smiled while scolding him so that the customers won't notice

"Nah, look he's having fun." I glared at him "Okay, okay. Ako na magbibihis sa kanya."

"Good" I let go of him and when I'm about to leave may pahabol pa siya

"Baby, where's his bag?" I showed him my annoyed face "I'm kidding! You look cute"

I don't know but I'm really annoyed with Samuel these past few days. Hindi ko nga gustong maamoy man lang siya. Ngayon lang hindi malala but kung nasa bahay kami hindi ko gustong kasama namin siya kumain o di kaya katabi. Parang this week twice lang kami nagtabi dahil ayokong niyayakap niya ako.
