Hey guys! Wow, it feels great to be writing agin :) And thanks for all of your support on the interview chapter, I'm sorry that so long to post, but yay, it's only been a few days, and now I've got another new chapter for you all!I hope you all enjoy it! And if you guys could get 450 votes for the next chapter I'd probably cry happy tears and bake a cake for you all!
Oh and the amount of comments you guys had on the last chapter was INSANE! I love your comments, so keep it up :)
Note: To the couple of girls who have created characters that are in this novel that haven't really been huge characters yet: I am sorry! Please understand that I can't have 24 leading tribute characters at the moment and as I am focusing on Jayson's side of the story, Tributes that aren't in her category aren't being as focused on as Tributes that are. I can understand your disappointment, but I have aimed to give every Tribute at least a few mentions, and as the number of Tributes lowers, those that are left will become bigger characters. I hope you all understand, many apologies. xoxo Andrea
Anyway... ENJOY!!
Chapter 23.
"Fans? More like foes!" I scoff, as I slouch about on the couches in the lounge of the Luke apartment with the rest of the girls.
Minus Shaylin, because she still hasn't come back from dinner with Luke last night.
It's Saturday morning now...Gee, wonder what's taking her so long!
Maaike chuckles, "I suppose they weren't exactly letting you off easy."
"I must admit, I agree. Those questions were pretty harsh." Mia adds.
Gee, Mia's agreeing with me on something? That's a first.
"I can't believe I had to tell Luke about my first kiss, with DALE!" I bury my head in one of the fluffy pillows on the couch to hide my shame again.
That was mortifying. I just about died during that interview. There's no way Luke is going to want me to stick around now. And I'm sure the Capitol will be more than happy to see me go, after all, there were a few questions from fans last night that were questioning the morals of the games...I wonder who sparked that outcry.
"Some of those questions were absolutely hilarious last night though!" Natalie says, taking a sip of her morning coffee.
"That one about being pizza was my favourite!" Dania giggles, almost choking on the piece of toast she's eating.
Mia inspects her fingernails in the morning sunlight streaming into the lounge, "That guy, Patrick, was absolutely terrible at choosing the best questions though. That interviewer chick looked like she was on the verge of screaming at him!"
The five of us laugh, remembering Patrick's antics from the previous night.
"Patrick is my spirit animal!" Maaike shouts, in-between laughs.
Natalie stands up on the couch, "Ok, so Luke, are you Muke or Cake as-"
Maaike cuts her off by throwing a pillow at her face, and we erupt in a fit of laughter.
"Oh my gosh, the look on Luke's face last night was priceless though!" I snicker.
"But Ashton's comment though 'What about me?'" Mia adds.
The five of us are busy clutching our stomachs with tears streaming down our face as we continue to recount the interview, when the door to our apartment opens.
"What did I miss...?"
The five of us look up to see a puzzled Shaylin standing in the doorway.
