The Capitol.

Even the name of the place seems grand, like it has status...I guess it does.

And wow, the place lives up to it's name, with giant skyscrapers, buildings that look like they are just made of glass, lights, billboards, and people everywhere.

Or maybe the people are just seriously crowding around the area between where our stretch limo will drop us off at the training centre, because they can catch a glimpse of every single tribute this year.

Just a thought.

We'd arrived in the gleaming Capitol about ten minutes ago, and after stepping off the train, we'd been ushered into the last waiting limo, to join the congress of vehicles heading towards the training centre for this years games, and to where we will be staying for the duration of that.

"Jayson...you're fogging up the whole window." Lucy tells me, as my face is pressed right up against the glass of the limo window next to me right now.

I'm just trying to take it all in!

Can you blame me?

I guess I started a trend, because within the next twenty seconds as our limo begins to pull up to the place where we will be getting out, our four faces are pressed against the window, trying to watch as the other tributes exit their vehicles.

We arrive just in time to see the four District M2 tributes glide out of their limo, wearing floaty skirts, leotards and pointe shoes, probably trying to psych us out.

Well it's working. I'm freaking out now. Because M2 is a pretty amazing District, seeing as it's in charge of The Arts and all.

Then the E2 tributes exit, each sporting an amazing hairstyle and flawless makeup, as they are the Beauty District, and that's their forte.

Then, it's time for the four of us to shine.

"Ok, exit gracefully ladies. I know you have it in you." Steffie instructs from the front of the limo.

Since I'm closest to the sidewalk, when we pull right up to the red carpet at the entrance to the high-rise training building, I have to get out first.

"How do I look?" I ask the other girls, as I give my newly caramel locks a quick fluff up.

The all give me a nod of approval, so I wait for an attendant to open the limo door, and make my way out.

As soon as I step out of the limo, a hundred different cameras and microphones are shoved in my face.

"You're the volunteer! Aren't you?"

"How does your sister feel?"

"Do you think you're mean for doing what you did?"

Instead of answering these questions, a tough looking bodyguard shoves through the crowd and makes room for me to get to the training centre without being questioned. Of course people would want to talk to me, I was the one volunteer.

Once inside, I wait for the other three girls, and Steffie to make their way in, and they do so without any bother.

"Sorry about that Jayson! I forgot the paparazzi would be curious about you." Steffie tells me, as she directs us over to one of the shiny elevators.
