Lucy's P.O.V.

I covered my ears to block out Beth and Maggie's yelling. They were arguing because Beth still wanted to die. She wanted Maggie to help.

It had been a few days since I had ended Dale's life. I felt terrible for not being able to save him. The men still don't know what to do with our "prisoner" either.

I walked out to the horse barn and saddled Annie.

"You wanna go for a run, Annie?" I coo to her. She flings her head, getting excited for a run. I saddled her and hopped on. I walked her out of the barn and out towards the field. I jumped the fence with her. We ran around the field for a bit. I did tricks with her. She flung her head in a playful manner. I leaned down and hugged her neck. I coo'ed to her as I rubbed her graceful neck.

We bother jumped when we heard Shane yelling. I ran Annie in the direction of his angry yells. Rick came from around the house along with everyone else.

"Rick! Rick!" Shane yelled coming out of the woods with a very bloody nose. "'Some b*tch grabbed my gun and clocked me."

"What?" Glenn asked in disbelief.

"Okay, everyone," Rick addressed. His eyes lingered on me for a split second longer than everyone else. "Daryl, Glenn, and T-dog go look for the boy. Shane, your coming with me to look. Everyone else wait inside."

"I'm coming too." I stated from atop Annie.

Rick looked like he was about to argue but I cut in.

"I can help. I know these woods like the back of my hand."

"'Kay, let's go." Daryl said as headed into the woods. I got off Annie and tied her to the porch rails and ran after them.

We searched the woods as it began to grow dark around us. Daryl had found a fresh pair of tracks that had to be Randal. We followed close behind him.

"Hold up," Daryl mumbled. "Something went down here."

Charlie gave a deep, menacing growled.

"Walker!" Glenn yelled as a walker grabbed my arm and tried sinking its teeth in me. I struggled as Daryl grabbed it and threw it off of me. He shot a crossbow bolt into it's rotting head.

"You okay?" Glenn asked.

I nodded and took a step towards the walker. It was Randal, but something was wrong.

"Oh, there's Randal." Glenn stated the obvious.

I bent down next to him. "I don't see any bites or scratches." I noted.

Daryl squatted beside me. "Yeah looks like his neck was snapped."

"Then how did he turn?" T-dog asked.

I stood up and brushed my hands on my pants. "Let's get back and tell everyone."

We headed back towards the house. Charlie barked and ran off towards the barn. We ran after him. The I saw it. The barn was on fire, people were running around in frenzies, trying to flee. A heard of walkers littered the farm. It was a mess.

I took off towards the house. We all went our different ways. I ran to get Annie. Two walkers were trying to eat her as she furiously kicked at them. I took out my handgun and shot them both. I jumped on Annie and turned towards the house. Beth was running with Patricia and Lori. A group of walkers grabbed Patricia and yanked her away from Beth. Beth cried out as Lori took her and put her in the car with T-Dog. They drove off down the driveway.

"Wait!" I called after them but it was no use. They couldn't hear me.

I shot any walker that was close to me. Annie ran and pranced to escape walkers that were too close. I could feel adrenaline pumping through me.

A blue car peeled out down the drive. Yet another person abandoning the farm. No, I can't abandon my home. Not even for the apocalypse.

I shoot more walkers as I run around the farm on Annie. A walker gets a little too close to Annie. I pull the trigger but all I get is a horrifying "click". The walker grabs for her and she rears up and throws me from my saddle. I land with a hard thud on the ground, bumping my head on the way. My vision blurs a little. I can see the walker about to bite Annie, but a figure jumps on it and takes it down.

Charlie.

He runs over to me with blood covering his face and neck.

Annie freaks and runs off towards the woods. I try to call after her, but I know she would never come back.

I groan and sit up a little. A walker growls and stumbled towards me. I frantically back up but my back hits the house. I was cornered.

To my right I can see daddy being pulled by Rick to escape in a car. I watched them peel out down the driveway. I looked around at the walker infested farm. I realized that I was all alone. Everyone had left me. I was gonna die alone.

The walker was right in front of me now. A few tears fell from my eyes as two more walkers began to walk over to me, their next meal.

Suddenly, an all too familiar arrow sinks into the head of the first walker. It fell and revealed Daryl on his motorcycle. He shot any walker close to me. He jumped off his bike and helped me up. I groaned as we got back onto his motorcycle. Charlie jumped in between Daryl and I.

"We can't leave the farm." I yell to him.

"We got to. Everyone's gone." He replied as he road down the driveway.

I looked back at our memory filled farm. The farm I was born and raised at. The farm where I first lost my baby tooth. The farm where I taught Beth how to ride a bike. The farm where I had my first kiss. The farm where my mom lived.

All those memories disappeared as we ride away.
