I opened my eyes to see that I'm stuck in Kurapika's arms. He was cuddling me like a child would to a stuffed animal. I smiled at him. 'He looks so peaceful when he sleeps.' A strand of his blond hair covers his face and his lips are in a smile. I can feel his chest rise and fall as he breaths. Suddenly, he opens his grey eyes and smiles.

"Good morning, Kikumi. Did you have a good sleep last night?" He asked, still a little sleepy.

'Not really. I had a bad dream about my family.' I wanted to say, instead I yipped a yes. I crawled out of his arms and sat next to him as he sat up.

He gave a sleepy sigh and said "I'm glad you had a good night. Sorry for using you as a pillow."

Suddenly Gon stuck his head in and asked "You ready, Kurapika? Leo? Leo! Hey. It's time to go to the fourth exam, get up."

Killua walked in and started poking Leo. I walked over and I used my tail to tickle Leo's nose. He bolted up and sneezed. Leo looked up at me and groaned.

"Let me sleep for a little while longer, please?" He asked

"Yip!" I barked

He groaned, sat up, and brushed himself off. Once he was up, I hopped into Gon's arms and everyone went to the exit.

*Time skip*

We stepped off the blimp and onto the top of a rock building.

"This is the trick tower. You must get to the bottom in 72 hours in order to pass. I wish you all good luck." Chairman Nertro said with a big smile on his face.

He got back into his blimp and he flew away. I was walking around, looked for a way in, when the ground from underneath me gave in. The last thing I saw was Gon's upset face as he ran to me.

*Time skip*
As I was falling, I realized that I had left Gon up there. 'Why did the floor give in? Is this apart of the test?' I thought. Then there was this light at the bottom of the pit. It was coming closer and closer. I drifted towards the wall and I jumped off of it to slow my fall. I did that several times until I was almost to the ground. I landed and this screen popped up, saying

Welcome, Kikumi. You must make a choice of saving yourself (O) or saving your friends (X). Pick here.

There was this pad with a X and O button for me to push. Without hesitation, I pushed X and this doggy door opened up.

"I'm worried about Kikumi. I hope she's ok." Gon's distant voice called through the door.

"Yip!" I barked as lould as I could and ran through the door.

"Kikumi?!?" An assortment of calls came out.

'Everyone! I'm coming. Just wait.' I thought as I passed through the last door.

Gon's POV
Kurapika, Leo, Killua, and I found a trap door system that lead us to this room. We had to wait for 1 more person to come down and then the door would open. I was riding on Killua's skateboard and he was using my fishing pole. Kurapika was pacing and Leo was laying down to take a nap.

15 minuets later

"I'm worried about Kikumi. I hope she's ok." I said, mostly to myself.

"Yip!" A familiar bark called.

The bark woke up Leo and Kurapika stopped his pacing.

"Kikumi?!?" We all cried out.

She was running out of somewhere and she leaped out of the hidden door. I caught her in my arms and held her close to me, hoping I won't ever lose her again.
