*Kikumi's POV*
"Mrs. Receptionist, could you tell Gon and Killua that I found a hotel for them. It's the Sleepy Willow inn." I tell her as I hand her a note, my fox ears pearched upon my head.
"I will let them know when they come out." She replied with a nod.
"Bye, thank you." I said.
"Come again." She said, with a smile.
I walked out of Heavens Arena, feeling fine, when I felt a breeze brush behind me. My ears perked up and I was alert.
"Who's there?" I asked the air.
No response.
I shrugged it off, but I was still alert. Another breeze brushed past me, this time at my legs.
"Who's there?! I know someone's there!" I said, really scared.
"Found you." A voice whispered.
I screamed and ran, but it seemed to follow me wherever I went. I ended up in a corner in a dark ally way when the voice spoke again.
"Its nice to see you again, little one." A familiar voice said.
"What?" I asked, terrified.
Then this man jumped down. He had dark black hair, dark green eyes, and smelled of alcohol. I just stared in shock.
"Hello, Its been a while, hasn't it?"
'I can't believe it! This isn't real. It must be another dream.' I thought, in complete shock.
"Papa!?!? Is that you!?!" I screamed, not flinching at my own screams.
Papa ran over to me and punched me, flinging me against the wall.
"How many times do I have to tell you. DON'T CALL ME PAPA!!!! You little runt." He screamed.
I hit the wall with a thud. I looked at Papa, standing over me. His breath reaked of alcohol. I whimpered and he laughed.
"Did you like the show I put on for you? Faking my death." He said, tauntingly.
"What happened to mama? Is she still alive?" I asked, hope filling my stomach.
"She was." He said.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused.
"We both faked our death, she didn't want to, but I convinced her to. She gave birth to your sister, then...
I killed her.
I watched the blood seep out of her leg as I held the knife, bloodied. It was so much fun and so colorful. The little four year old was asleep, but I wish she could have been there to watch." Pap...no this murder said, while looking at me, his pupils dilated.
I couldn't speak. Couldn't breath.
"Well, I have to be leaving. I am entering Heavens Arena. Maybe you'll fight me in there. I'll see you soon, little one. By the way..." He said as he throws two things at me. One is a small 4 year old.
"Bye!" He said, before disappearing.
After a long time, I finally could speak.
"Mizuki?" I asked, feeling for a pulse.
Nothing.
'She's dead.' I thought.
I looked to my left to see what else he threw at me and I saw something I wished I never saw.
A severed ear with a small, metal ball earring.
My mom's ear.
I started to cry.
I broke down sobbing, clutching my dead sisters body.
"Kikumi?!" I heard Gon screaming my name, looking for me.
"Kikumi?!" I heard Killua shout.
I continued to cry and I heard the footsteps get louder.
"Kikumi!!" I heard both the boys shout at the same time. The sound of footsteps filling my fox ears.
"Kikumi, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" I heard Gon ask, frantically.
I just sat there, crying.
Killua picked me up and looked at the lifeless girl in my arms.
"Kikumi, who's that?" He asked
"Little *sob* sister." I said, in the middle of my sobing.
I clung to my sisters and let out an animalistic shout, startling Gon.
"Mizuki!!" I screamed.
We headed to the inn, me riding on Killua's back. The inn keeper looked shocked, but kept sweeping.
Gon opened the door to our room and Killua set me down on the bed.
"Kikumi, Tell us what happened." Killua asked after I calmed down a little.
"My dad is still alive.........he killed my mom......cut her ear off........starved Mizuki...... I can't.....I'm done......." I said, before I started to cry again.
*time skip*
I woke up, groggy from all of the crying.
"Kikumi, are you feeling ok?" Gin asked.
"I'm better, thank you." I said, politely.
"Killua wants to give you something." Gon said.
Killua came up to me, his face all red, and handed me a card.
It read
Kikumi,
I'm sorry for not letting you fight. It was wrong of me. I know your strong. I was just worried. I hope you can forgive me."Killua, I forgive you." I said, after reading the card.
His face remained the same, but his eyes lit up.
"Oh, I have gifts for you. I found them while I was looking for the hotel. Here." I said, handing them wrapped gifts.
They both tore the wrapper off and their faces lit up.
"Chocolate!!!" Killua shouted, making me flinch.
"Yes, do you like.....?" I start to ask until I see Killua stuffing his face with them.
"Gon, I got you a bobble for your fishing rod. Do you like it?" I ask, worried.
"I love it, Kikumi! Thank you so much!!" Gon said, excited.
"I'm really glad you both like your gifts." I told them with a smile.
*Jento's POV*
'I hope my little one liked her presents.' I thought.
"Give me a ticket." I said, brutally.
"Y-yes. H-here." The receptionist said, scared out of her mind.
I snatched the ticket from her hand and pulled out a vassle.
'Alcohol, what would I do with out you?' I thought as I pored the content down my throat.
"Good stuff." I said, to myself.
I walked to the ring and watched as two guys fight.
'Fsh, this fight looks too easy.' I thought. "I can't wait to fight my little one. Now that's going to be fun.' I thought with an evil smirk.
'Let the games begin.'
