Unforgettable x and x Undecided

             *+Day before Gon's exam+*

I was getting near exiting the bus, excited to celebrate my sisters birthday. When I got to my bus stop, I got off and ran up and hugged my sisters.

"Happy birthday, sissies."

I say to them. They're turning 16, so I'm 10 years old. We were in the field, walking home when Hina wanted a picture so that this moment will never be forgotten.

Her camera went. I ran home, excited to see the picture for myself. I wanted to see my sissies, as well as myself and my light green eyes. I transformed into my fox self because, we are Kitsune.

Hena said, with a worried tone, "Kikumi, slow down. You'll hurt yourselve again."

When I got to our den, I saw that it was trapped by a metal cage.

"Hina, Hena. Don't go in there." I said, very startled.

I stopped mid-track. Hina and Hena kept moving on into the trap, thinking that I was just being weird again.

"No!"I shouted, but its too late. The cage slams closes, trapping my sisters in it.

"Well boys, looks like we got ourselves some foxes." A strange man said.

Two other people laughed at my sisters cowering in the cage. I hid in the bushes until they left. I was so crushed. My family had just been taken, and now I can't transform unless I find someone who will be my family. I run inside my now empty den and grab my fake collar that says my name and 'please take care of.' I walk out and I wandered through the forest, exhausted. I found a boy with spiky black hair and green clothes. He was fishing until I saw his line bite. He pulled out this massive fish and headed off towards the town. I followed him because I was hungry, and intrigued by this boy that looks my age. When I was in the market I saw him raise the fish and shout

"I caught the king of the lake."

I look at him as he is walking back. He sees me and kneels down. He asked me

"You look hungry. Do you want to come with me?"

I nodded and we went to the top of a hill.

"Hello Gon. Who is that riding on your shoulder?" She looks at my tag and says, "Aww. Poor stray."

She looks at Gon's face about to light up in a smile. She sighed and said

"Fine. You can go to the exam, if you take Kikumi with you."

"YES!!!!!!!!!"

He screams at the top of his lungs, which makes me jump and hide under a couch.

"Shhh. Its ok, come on out."

He coos. I slowly come out and they feed me some steak they had at dinner. I eat it quickly and cuddle up on Gon's shoulder. I'm only a baby, so I'm small. Gon cairred me to bed. He crawled into bed and kissed my sleepy forehead.

"Goodnight, Kikumi."

He whispered and soon, he was fast asleep. When he was asleep, I cried. Not very lould, but still tears were pouring down my fur.
