A X Fighting X Chance

*Killua's POV*

I sat down next to Gon, waiting for Kikumi's fight to begin.

"Are you excited, Killua?" Gon asked.

"Yea." I said, calmly.

Gon turned his attention back on the ring as Kikumi walked out of the side, her fox ears atop her head. Her opponent, a big, tall man, walked out too.

"The fight between Kikumi and Tatsuo shall start." The referee called.

"Ready?"

Tatsuo nodded.

"Yes." Kikumi said, shyly.

"Begin!!" The referee shouted, but Kikumi did not flinch.

Tatsuo ran at Kikumi, but she didn't move.

She began to cry.

The audience didn't move. Gon had a confused look on his face.

"Just wait." I told Gon.

Tatsuo walked slowly up to the girl.

"Hey, what's wrong? I haven't even hurt you yet." He asked, coming closer.

Kikumi continued to cry, her ears shaking with her head. The man came up and was about to comfort her when....

Kikumi kicked him in-between the legs.

He fell to the floor in pain.

"Ooh." Everyone in the audience groaned.

I just laughed. Gon smiled at me.

"How'd you know she was going to do that?" Gon asked me.

"Her cries were fake. If she was really crying her ears would have curled up." I said.

I turned back to the fight. Tatsuo got up, holding his hurt area and looked at her, furiously.

"Why you little runt!" He screamed and lunged at her.

Kikumi jumped out of the way and landed next to him. He swung his arm, but missed Kikumi.

'She's gotten quicker.' I thought.

I saw Kikumi flicked him twice then grabbed his shoulder. Kikumi apeared behind him and did a small curtsy. As soon as she did that, Tatsuo fell to the ground, knocked out.

"The winner is Kikumi."

The crowd was silent as Kikumi left the stage. Gon and I ran down to meet her.

When we got there, her head was down and her ears were slumped.

"You were great, Kikumi!" Gon said, boarding screaming.

She nodded her head, not looking up.

"Kikumi?" I asked, wondering what was wrong.

"Did I do ok? No one cheered when I left." She asked, tears brimming her eyes.

"You were great!" Gon cheered.

"Yea, you were fine." I said.

Suddenly, this man turned the corner. He had dark black hair, dark green eyes, and he smelled of alcohol. I looked back to see Kikumi flinch and fear fill her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Gon asked worried.

"Him......no......run." Was all she said before bolting out of the tower.

I turned back to see the man smirk and run after her.

"Let's follow them." Gon said, pulling me out of the tower.
