Heart X of a X Family

*Kikumi's POV*

After the tea, I couldn't help but yawn.

"Someone's sleepy." Leo said, noticing my yawn.

"And she's not the only one." Mikasa commented, pointing to Kurapika.

Kurapika has fallen asleep with his head on the table.

Gon and Leo started to laugh and a giggle escaped me.

"Um, can I be excused to go to my room?" I asked.

"Sure. Your room is the first one on the left. You'll be sharing it with Mikasa." Zebro told me.

"Ok, goodnight." I said as I walked into my room.

But he came with me and opened the door for me.

"Thank you." I told him.

"Its my pleasure. Plus, you couldn't open this door on your own. It's 75 pounds." He finished.

'Wow, I'm kinda glad he came along.' I thought.

The door closed behind me with a loud slam, startling me and making me jump.
I changed into my pyjamas. My pyjamas was a light orange top, with fluffy dark orange shorts. I crawled onto my bed, not wanting to sleep. But I couldn't get into the covers. The covers were too heavy.

'Why are the covers so heavy?! Oh, well. Its ok, I wanted to sleep outside tonight anyway.'

I wrote Mikasa a note, letting her know where I was going. Then, transforming into my fox self, I climbed out the open window.

I treaded to the trees bordering the gate. I started to climb, my side hurting the whole way up.

Once I was at the top, I jumped and landed on one of the lowest branches of a tree. I looked up to be face to face with a giant muzzle.

"Who goes there!?" He booms.

"M-my names K-kikimi Jude." I answer, shakily.

"Baby Kiki!?" He asked, shocked.

I glanced at him as I though. 'His black eyes and his purple coat. His hand like claws and his blue tounge. Wait, blue tounge?'

"Mikey!?" I asked, shocked.

"Kiki!!" Mike barked.

I leaped at him and curled up next to his fur.

(A/N Their speaking to each other through dog, their native tounge. (When Kikumi's in her fox form, that is.))

"How have you been, Kiki?" Mikey asked.

"Um....ok." I replied, hesitantly

"What does that mean?" He questioned.

"My sisters, they um....." I started.

"What happened to your sisters?" He questioned again, getting worried.

"The Beast Hunter........he.....killed them." I said, choking back sobs.

"I've heard about your parents, but your sisters too?" He asked, looking really sad.

"Yes, all of them." I said, the tears coming down my face.

"I'm sorry for your loss." He said, mournfully.

He used his hand like claw to wipe away the tears.

"Thanks." I said, the tears stopping.

I look at him and ask. "You know, Mikey, I've been crying alot lately. Is that bad?"
