Fighting X a hard X Battle

*Kikumi's POV*

After a couple of hours to relax, (and me changing clothes) all of the contestants were called in for information on the final test.

"OK, I've divided a system taking who you don't and who you do want to battle into account. I've divided a chart to give each person a certain amount of trys to pass. The only real rule is no killing." The chairman explained.

Then this one dude came up and asked.

"Does that mean that theirs only one hunter passing?"

"No, no. Only one person doesn't pass." He replies, reviling the board underneath.

I went up and saw me and Newt matched up first. When I turned around I saw Killua flinch when he saw who I was battling. Gon looked kinda angry. Mikasa looked like he wanted to burn him to a crisp. Kurapika looked normal, but I saw his fist closed. Leo outright screamed at Nertro.

"Why did you pair up that person with Kikumi?"

"Well, she said she wanted to fight him, so I paired them up accordingly." The chairman said.

"What!?!?!?!" Leo screamed.

I flinched and just looked at the board, excited to get battling. Killua came up behind me and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Are you sure?" He asked.

He knew the reason I wanted to pumble the guy.

"Yes. I'll be ok. Don't worry you guys." I told Leo.

"That's not going to happen. None of us will stop worrying about you. Your our little fox." Leo confronted me.

"Knock his teeth out." Mikasa said

"You can do in, Kikumi." Gon cheered.

"Good luck." Kurapika said.

"Yea, good luck." Killua told me.

I was about to go battle when Killua grabbed my shoulder.

"What?" I asked, turning around.

His eyes shined with determination.

"Don't lose." Was his advise he told me.

"Thanks. I'll try not to. Ok?" I said, sweetly.

Then I walked out onto the ring and my eyes met his auburn ones.

'I can do this.' I thought to myself.

He sneered at me and said

"Your ready to go down."

"I have a request." I asked.

"What is it?" He rudely asked.

"Can we reveal our secrets?" I asked.

I heard my friends gasp behind me.

"Sure, I have nothing to hide."

He let out bloodlust to try and scare me. Everyone behind me shivered. Once the bloodlust stopped, he had a ax in his hands.

"I will use my ax. What are your going to use?" He sneered and asked.

I began to transform into my fox self.

His jaw was on the floor. I turned around and everyone but my friends mouth's were agape.

"Your that fox that took my tag!" He yelled.

I didn't even flinch, which surprised my friends.

"Ohh, I can't wait to cut you up into pieces." He said, a bad look in his eyes.

I growled at him and he was taken aback. He smirked.

"You ready." He sneered.

"Yip!" I barked loulder and more menacing than I normally do, startling everyone.

He charged at me with the sword. I raced under his legs and leaped onto his back, biting into his skin.

"Ahhhhh!!" He screamed in pain.

I transformed back into my girl self and kicked him in the back. He swung at my leg and I jumped. He stood up and started to slash at me. I dodged every one of his attacks in midair. He hugged in frustration.

"Hold still, you mangy fox." He shouted.

I charged at him, dodging his ax. I transformed into my fox. I unsheathed my claws and dug my nails into his back.

"Ahhhhh!!" He screamed in pain again.

I smirked in victory. He got back up and swung his ax at me. I jumped, but he was expected that. He hit me with the blunt end of his ax. I fell to the floor, turning into my human self. He grabbed my leg and swung me around until he threw me against the wall. He let go and a cloud of dust apeared. He turned around to bow.

*Gon's thoughts*

Oh, no. She's down. She will get back up and beat him. I know she will.

*Leo's thoughts*

I know Kikumi can do this! Go!!

*Kurapika's thoughts*

If she doesn't do it she won't have confidence in herself.

*Mikasa's thoughts*
warning: some fake swear words.

Why that son of bushes. She's just a small girl and you go all out?! That mother trucking hasherd. Oh how much I want to get in there and cut off all of his fingers and let him slowly bleed to death. Or throw him off a cliff. Or set him on fire. Grrrrr. I will KILL HIM.

*Killua's thoughts*

Don't turn around Newt, or you'll have the surprise of you life.

*Kikumi's POV*

'Oww.' I thought. I touched the wall and bounced off of it as soon as my foot made contact. I burst from the smoke and punched the guy in the back of his head. He fell to the floor and I was declared the winner. My eyesight is kinda blurry when my friends came over to see me. I turned into a human and held my head in my hands.

"Kikumi, what's wrong?" Kurapika asked.

"My eyesight blury and my side hurts." I say lifting up my left side of my shirt. When I did, Leo, Killua, Mikasa and Gon gasped. I looked down and saw a big black and blue spot with green on the edges.

"What's wrong?" I asked as my eyesight cleared.

That big black and blue spot is a huge bruise that covers my entire left side from my skirt to the top of my rib cage.

"Oww!" I shouted.

Leo carefully picked me up and took me to the infirmity.

I whined in bed as everyone but Mikasa had to leave.

"Shh. Its ok. The'll be back. You can count on it. Plus, I'll be here. " She calmed me.

"Mikasa, I have something to tell you. I remember Newt from when my parents were killed. He was there. He works for Sergei. What are we going to do?!" I asked, completely panicked.

"It's ok, I'll deal with it. Don't worry. Just rest."

I calmed down and went to sleep, ignoring the pain in my side as I held Mikasa's hand.
