Chapter 12

"Fiz, what is that?" I pointed at a stone structure that was peeking between the trees.

"Ooh! Thomas, I think we found some ruins!" She giggled cheerily.

"Ruins?"

"Yup yup! There's usually a monster living inside... but also lots of treasure!"

"Oh, I do like treasure," I noted.

"C'mon, let's go check it out!" Fiz hopped forward happily. I followed, smiling slightly.

The ruins were small and simple - probably an old stone house or something, with no roof and missing a wall and a half. We stepped in through the large hole that likely was once a door and looked around.

"No monster?" I asked. I turned around, and a large pink heart flew directly into my face. When the cloud of fog vanished, I was standing face-to-face with a strange woman. She was my height, with curled horns on her head, long black hair, and vibrant purple eyes. She was wearing lingerie, with bat wings tucked behind her back and a forked tail waving behind her. It was hard to look away from her, but I felt Fiz grab my arm and yank me back.

"Aww, what a cute little man~ I'm going to have such a delicious meal tonight~" The woman smiled lewdly.

"Thomas! Don't listen to her! She's a succubus!" Fiz protested. I looked over at her and-

Holy...

Fiz looked so beautiful. Like, even more than usual. She was so pretty and cute and hot and sexy and adorable and perfect.

"Why would I..?" I said, struggling to do anything but kiss the perfect bunny.

"Oh, silly little man~ you think you can resist a succubus' charm spell~?" The woman asked. "Just come here and I'll let you feel my body~"

I looked at the succubus. "...why would I want that?"

"Excuse me?" Both the succubus and my perfect bunny companion, Fiz gasped.

"Fiz is so much prettier than you." I explained. It was true! "She's adorable and sweet and cuddly and perfect!"

Fiz giggled and blushed - only making her cuter. "I think I just hijacked your charm spell!" She cheered. "Thomas, we should leave."

"Of course, Fiz," I smiled. "Anything for you~"

I gently pulled Thomas by the arm, leading him out of the ruins. I have no idea how I managed to hijack a charm spell, when that's not even remotely my area of expertise.

Maybe he just really thinks I'm that pretty? Aww, that would be amazing!

Focus, Fiz. No matter how cute he is, stay focused.

"Hey Fiz..?" Thomas asked. I stopped pulling and turned to him. His eyes had lost the purple luster of a charm spell, and gone back to the handsome dark brown they usually were. I'm not sure if I was relieved or disappointed, because he was so cute when he was Charmed.

~ Thomas ~

"Are you feeling better, Thomas?" Fiz asked.

"Yeah... sorry about that, my head was-"

Fiz waved her hand. "You don't need to be sorry. I'm just glad that I'm so 'adorable and sweet and cuddly and perfect' enough~" She teased. I could feel my cheeks turning bright pink.

"Y-yeah, well... sorry."

"I told you, silly! You don't need to be sorry~" Fiz giggled and we walked. "It was... kinda cute, honestly."

"Wait, what?"

"Boys always get all giggly and fuzzy when they're charmed! It's super cute to see someone like you suddenly become a giggly, flustered mess~" Fiz smiled happily at me.

I blushed, quiet for a moment.

"Hey, it's getting dark... we should set up camp," Fiz smiled.

"Yeah good idea."

"Hey, Thomas?"

"What's up?"

Fiz blushed deeply and smiled shyly at me. "Do you... wanna cuddle again tonight..?"

I nodded slightly. "Yeah, that would be nice."

Yeah this chapter just popped into my head this morning and I was like "Yeah that's kinda cute."

...then I spent about a day deciding if I wanted to do this chapter. I decided I certainly did, so here we are.

So yeah if someone is hit with a charm spell, they tend to have their feelings increased drastically, rather than falling in love with the caster. So he went from thinking Fiz was cute, to suddenly being totally in love with her.
