Guided by Fate (Fiz-Bun Fluff)

Chaper 20

Her body was similar in shape to Fiz - large breasts, wide hips, and round ass - albeit much less soft-looking. She had long purple hair, and there were seven fox tails swaying behind her, with a pair of fox ears on her head. Her eyes were a deep, glowing purple, and she wore a very short robe, with slits in either side to show off her thighs, along with a large opening in the center to reveal the cleavage for her large breasts.

She grinned lewdly, and my head grew foggy for a second.

"What kind of magic are you pulling, lady?" I huffed.

"Oh, it's simply the magic of my own beauty, handsome~ soon enough, you'll forget this silly bunny and fall mindlessly in love with me~"

I blinked twice.

"Why?"

"Because, my silly man, you're supposed to be mine♡!" She smiled, stepping closer. "My name is Kuro. Nyx has promised that you'll be all mine, and the Goddess of Night cannot be wrong."

"I thought that there was only one goddess?" I asked, trying to see if I could use any magic to reach into Fiz or Kuro's minds. I couldn't access Kuro, and Fiz's mind was filled with static.

"No, silly boy~ that's exactly what Taiyo wanted everyone to believe: that she was the only goddess," Kuro stepped closer to the murals on the walls.

"The Ancients had gathered so much magic that, all together, they had the power of gods. Their king decided to gather a fragment of each type of magic and fuse them together," She explained, purple fire burning over her hand to illuminate the walls. "Ancient magic is the most powerful of them all. It contains each and every other variety, plus a special gift."

"What do you mean?" I asked, stepping closer to Fiz and gently rubbing her shoulder.

Fiz didn't respond.

"Just as light magic has a patron goddess, so too does ancient magic: the goddess of night, Nyx. A primordial being who empowered the Ancients, warping their forms to give them greater access to the magic they had created."

She tapped the spindly creatures on the mural.

"Okay, so why did Nyx make you horny for me?"

"Oh, silly man~ I'm getting to that~" She giggled. It was nothing like Fiz's gentle laugh, much darker and more sinister. "You see, magic was not the cause of the Ancients' downfall. It was Taiyo who shattered their world. She felt that they had become too strong, so she destroyed everything that they had worked so hard to achieve. Then, in her next world - this one - she spread the lie that ancient magic was corruptive and evil.
"Of course, in order to destroy the Ancients, she first had to trap Nyx. Nyx's soul was separated into six fragments, each one hidden below a city. This city contains the final shard of her soul."

"Okay but why are you after us?" I asked, still confused.

"Because of Fiz. You know me, don't you, bunny?"

Fiz shook her head, her eyes glazed over.

"Oh, silly girl. You must certainly do. Reach deep, before you are chosen, to the fateful day when your village was destroyed."

Fiz trembled slightly, gasping as she dropped to her knees. Her eyes cleared at she looked at Kuro.

"K-Kuro... what happened to you...?" She asked as I knelt down.

"You know exactly what happened to me. Why don't you tell Thomas all about it~?"

Also, I got my Covid booster shot on Monday and BOY does EVERYTHING feel sore. Starting to feel better, though.
