"You're one of Taiyo's followers," A tall woman with dark skin and black hair said, looking directly at Fiz.
Fiz stepped back slightly.
"...what are you talking about?" She asked carefully.
"I saw you at the temple a few times, though it was a few years ago. Also, several feet shorter."
"Emi, at least sit down. You're scary when you loom." Luna said, rolling her eyes.
Emi nodded and sat down on the couch - still taller than Fiz, but less imposing. "A few years ago, we shared a world. I was a mercenary, and had been hired to track down some troublemakers who had been piecing together some kind of cursed doll."
"I don't remember hearing about it..." Fiz said, placing a finger to her lips.
"I'm not surprised. It's said that Taiyo herself was the one to break it apart, so nobody wanted her involved," Emi explained. "They'd spent years finding the pieces, and had only two to find: the skull and the heart. I managed to find the heart first, in some old crypt."
"It set off a trap. The entire thing crumbled around me, and I was crushed."
The room was silent, and Emi stared at the floor for a moment.
"Then, I woke up. I was on this world, with a lifetime of fake memories. The only reason I didn't think I'd gone crazy was Dyhart."
Dyhart nodded. "I went to the mall with Luna, and saw Emi - you know, a tall bunny girl - and asked about it. She freaked out a little bit, saying she'd thought she had gone insane."
"What happened to the doll?" I asked.
Emi gripped a string around her neck, and pulled out a small necklace from under her shirt. It looked like it was made of glass or crystal, in the shape of a human heart. Just to be clear - not the shape, not a ♡, but the actual organ.
"...ew..." Luna said. "I still think it's gross."
Emi shrugged and put it away, then slammed her arm on the table, causing everyone to jump slightly.
"Now, are we going to play Starlight Wilds? Because if we aren't, I wasted a lot of time."

Ugh, I'm so sorry for vanishing! I've been having trouble writing for this, but today I decided: "Nah screw it, I'm going to go make some more cute things!"
So I finished Emi's backstory and now it's time for bootleg D&D!
