NORTH GRUNTED as Vi walked through a nearby gate and sat North up against a wall, crouching in front of North while Caitlyn went and sat beside her.
"Everything's gonna be fine. I'll be right back." Vi said, patting North's knee in reassurance.
North gave her a nod before her lowered her head, her hands shaking violently above her lap in fear she wished she could conceal whilst she struggled to cope with the pain in her side.
Vi got up and started to run toward the gate when suddenly, enforcers ran right by her, causing Vi to lean against the wall in order to evade them.
Once all the enforcers were gone, she peeked around the corner, spotting Silco and his men on the bridge.
Jinx was in Silco's arms, unconscious.
"Please be okay, please be okay..." Caitlyn whispered to herself, staring at North's wound while putting a hand on the injured girl's shoulder.
North couldn't bring herself to say anything to reassure Caitlyn, her mind clouded by everything going on around her.
The noise from the enforcers stomping and the pain from her bleeding wound...
Fear and anxiety rushed through Caitlyn, wanting so desperately to just go home and get to where it was safe. The worry and fright gave Caitlyn an unpleasant feeling in her stomach.
Caitlyn lifted up Ekko's container and opened it, only to see that the gemstone wasn't inside. "It's gone." She muttered.
"What?" Vi asked as she looked back at the girls.
"It's gone?" North questioned before looking down at the empty container.
Jinx must have already taken the gemstone out before Ekko had taken the container from her.
"It was all for nothing." Caitlyn realized.
Vi widened her eyes as she looked towards the bridge again, making eye contact with Silco as he held Jinx close.
Silco then picked Jinx up from the floor and got up, turning around and walking away while his men followed behind him.
Vi tensed her brows, a sorrowful look in her eyes as she silently watched Silco disappear into the distance, taking her sister with him.

Vi pushed open the window to Caitlyn's bedroom and stared at the inside of the room for a moment before hopping inside.
Caitlyn linked her fingers together and bent down, North stepping into Caitlyn's palms. Caitlyn grunted as she pushed North up to the edge of her window, Vi grabbing hold of North's hand and helping her inside.
