JUST as North promised, she never stopped visiting Vi down in the Lanes. She went back to her the very next day and stayed with her and her siblings down in the abandoned arcade.

She knew that to her own people, it wasn't the right thing to do, and that for the sake of Piltover, she should have told the truth about seeing the culprits of the robbery.

However, turning her back on her loved ones down in Zaun was not something she was capable of.

Vi told North that she had revealed to the other kids that she was a Piltie, but they didn't seem to mind and didn't treat her any differently, surprisingly enough.

Mylo and Powder were back to their shooting competitions while Claggor counted their wins.

Meanwhile, North was watching Vi fight against the fighting machine from outside of the ring, grasping the ring while she stood up on the edge of its floor.

"Nice moves." North cheered Vi on with a few light claps.

Vi looked at her and sent her a quick smile before she threw another punch at the machine.

"Remind me why we bother with this dump." Mylo said nonchalantly as he loaded his gun.

Vi's new high score rose to the top of the board as she gave the metal target one final punch before stepping back.

"Vander said to lay low." She stated, rolling her shoulder. "Enforcers never come down here, so this is as good a place as any."

"Oh, what's the matter, Mylo? You worried Powder's gonna beat you again?" Claggor teased Mylo, North widening and rolling her eyes knowingly.

"Hey, if she didn't keep fixing these things, I wouldn't keep missing." Mylo complained.

Powder then rose up from behind the counter with a smirk, startling Mylo. She plugged two large wires into each other, causing the lights of the game to turn on and the targets to start moving again.

Mylo scowled at her as she hopped over the counter before shooting his faux bullets at the targets, missing his shots completely every time he fired.

"You guys know I wouldn't take you on a job you couldn't handle, right?" Vi asked her siblings as she took her boxing gloves off.

North's expression tensed. She hopped over the rings and walked over to Vi with a water bottle in hand, offering the cold beverage to her.

Vi smiled and took the bottle, taking a large sip to cool the heat radiating off of her.

"Are you kidding? That was the best job we've ever done." Mylo assured Vi, missing a few more of his shots. "Maybe just don't take Powder next time." He added, Powder angrily closing her gun.
