"SILCO'S GOONS aren't far behind. We have to keep moving." Caitlyn urged as Vi briefly removed her hand from her wound to check on it, a large amount of blood staining her bandaged palm.

All that could be heard was the footsteps of the three women, along with Vi's grunts of pain and the background chatter of Silco's men chasing after the trio.

Vi's wound was only getting worse the longer it was left untreated.

The pain made it hard for her to walk fast, which slowed the women down. And since they didn't know where exactly they were going, they didn't know where to find a doctor or someone who could help.

North grunted as she rolled her shoulders, struggling to continue carrying Vi.

"What's that?" She asked as she looked up and noticed a large glowing sign.

"The sign." Caitlyn answered.

"Never mind that, just help me get to the edge." Vi requested, North nodding as she helped Vi over to the edge of a cliff.

Vi removed her arm from around North, breathing heavily as she looked down at the large drop.

"You think you can do this on y--"

Vi then abruptly jumped down the cliff with no warning, her body roughly hitting a metal pole. She tried her best to cling onto it but could not bring herself to, and her fall was anything but graceful, as she ended up hitting several other poles on the way down to the ground.

North raised her brows with wide eyes, quietly hissing at the scene before shaking her head.

"Shit." Caitlyn cursed under her breath, her and North briefly looking at each other before they started climbing down to the ground below.

. . . . .

Marcus tossed his keys onto his dresser, letting out a sigh of exhaustion before slamming his badge onto the wooden surface as well.

Then, he turned his head to the side when he heard the sound of a little girl laughing in the distance. His little girl.

A smile formed on Marcus's lips as he walked over to the bedroom belonging to his young daughter Ren, slowly opening the door and peeking through the space to see Ren playing with her toys, a gleeful smile on her face.

He opened the door a little more, only to widen his eyes when he saw that it was Silco Ren was playing with. He was sitting on the floor in front of Ren, helping her build a tower out of her toys.

Two of Silco's people were also in the room, just lingering around, touching a bunch of stuff for the hell of it.

"Ah, about time Daddy joined us." Silco said, smiling in a sickeningly fake manner. "You were so busy, little Ren here saw me in." He mentioned, lightly pinching Ren's cheek gently.
