《 together 》
"VI?"
"North?"
"Wait. I'm confused. What is happening here?" Caitlyn asked, furrowing her eyebrows as she glanced between the two girls. "Wait..." She trailed off, her mind slowly putting the pieces together on its own.
Her eyes then widened when the situation finally started to make sense, recognizing Vi at last.
Vi's expression softened as she slowly let go of North's cloak, then she placed her hand on North's shoulder
"...You're alive?" She questioned gently.
North's bottom lip trembled slightly as her heart began to race faster than she could process, her eyes enlarged from shock. She tensed her lips, trying her best to keep her composure firm.
Vi moved her hand up and her fingers went around the back of North's neck, her thumb stroking her skin as her eyebrows creased in utter puzzlement.
North slowly placed her hands on top of Vi's wrist, then a quiet and shaky breath left her when she touched Vi, almost as if she didn't believe that Vi was physically there up until she felt her bandaged arm.
"Vi? Are... are you real?" She asked as if she were in disbelief that the woman standing before her was really her. Her Vi.
"Yes, I-- I am." Vi stammered her reply, leaning a bit closer to North.
North brought one of her feet closer to the wall when Vi did that, still stuck in shock. Then, she looked Vi up and down, observing her new appearance.
Her hair grew longer, long enough to cover one of her eyes.
She had two scars on her face-- one on her lip and the other on her eyebrow.
There was also a small tattoo on her cheek that said VI. It looked similar to a Roman numeral. Meanwhile, there were various other tattoos on her arms from what North could see, but it was hard to tell exactly what they were of.
Vi also had several piercings, some on her ears and one on her nose.
Vi couldn't help but notice North's appearance too.
Her hair was shorter and styled similarly to Vi's, as one of North's eyes was barely visible. Her facial features were hard to recognize at first glance.
North had a plenty of ear piercings of her own and some tattoos of different designs that adorned the skin of her arms.
North didn't have any facial accessories, but what she did have was a light little line on the left of her jawline. A scar from quite the memorable incident.
