My eyes flutter slowly trying to adjust to reality as I felt sore, in fact I felt pain all over my entire body felt which also was stiff, even if I wanted to move, I would pay for it seconds later. .

"S-shes waking up..."
"I'll go get the doctor."

Voices faded in and out as my heart starts to pound as images of the car exploding and me trying to save Alison came flooding back in.

"Emily? Look at me... you're okay." Her brothers voice tries to calm me, I assume he noticed I was about to work myself up.

"Here..." he trails off helping me sit up, putting an extra pillow behind me.

I take a look around realizing I was in a hospital room, not a regular one either. One of those fancy ones that only rich ass people were able to afford. I made eye contact to see a worried Alison's mother and father standing there, with Charolette sitting on the corner on her phone.

"Oh, Emily.. thank god you're alright. You had all of us worried to death." Veronica exclaims clutching her chest as her husband holds her.

Standing by the door was Jospeh, who was guarding it but out of everyone else in the room, the one person who was missing was Alison.

"I just knew it. I always told Ali to get a regular vehicle, instead of those fast sport cars, I knew those things couldn't be safe. I can't believe a deer did this to you, sweetheart." She explains confusion me.

"A-a deer? What are you talking about a deer?" My voice cracks, from lack of water causing Charolette to jot up from her phone as they all look at me before looking to each other.

What deer?

"Y-you don't remember?" Jason asks me arching his brows.

"Remember a deer...." I trail off confused.
Where is Alison?

"Yeah.. Alison said after leaving the restaurant, you guys got into a car accident because she swerved trying to avoid hitting a deer." Jason tells.

"The doctor did say she hit her head pretty hard on the dashboard, that's why she probably doesn't remember." Charolette explains to the others.

Pause.

Did Alison lie to her entire family about what happened? It wasn't a deer that made me like this, someone literally tried to kill her.

Before I could say anything else the door opens and my eyes jot to see her aunt and the doctor.

"Afternoon, Miss Fields. I'm Dr. Hill. Can you tell me how you're feeling? Do you feel dizzy? How much pain are you in on a scale one to ten. One being low, and ten being extremely intolerable." The doctor states.

I ignore the doctor, "w-where is Alison?" I ask with my heart racing.

"Alison had to leave.... She left a couple of minutes after you were admitted to the hospital. She'll be back later, Miss Fields." Jospeh finally speaks.

I go to remove the sheets off of me when both Jason and Dr. Hill stops me, Jospeh approaches me in a quickness, "Emily..." Jason calls out for me.

"Miss Fields, I do not suggest that is such a good idea.." The doctors tells me, I ignore the doctor again and my head snaps to Joseph, "take me to her. I want to see her." I tell him.

He sighs, "Ma'am, you and I both know Miss Dilaurentus prefers to be left alone when she is handling business." He tells me, emphasizing on the handling business part, like it was code for her doing something illegal.

Remembering that her family who I'm sure is completely unaware of the situation was still in the room, I needed to leave so I could talk to Joseph in peace. "I would like to go to sleep now..." I lie needing a reason to have everyone leave the room so Joseph and I can talk.
