"You seem more nervous than I do" Alison's voice pulled me out of deep thought.

But that was the thing, I wasn't at all nervous as Alison thought I was, in fact to be frank, I was annoyed.

The thought of my annoying sister and unbearable mother coming down here not to check on me, not because they missed me, not because they feel bad for what happened when I left... but because they couldn't accept the fact that I was no longer with Talia.

In fact, I was with someone who Talia could never be.

I exhale looking at the entrance and exit of the large and busy airport, "I'm not nervous" I say softly.

"Are you sure? You've been staring at the doors since we arrived." Alison tells me, causing me to turn and face her.

"I'm fine. I'll be cool, okay"

She arch her brow at me, "cool?" She asked.

"As in... I'll try to behave myself"

Before I could say anything, she grabs my hand before looking me in the eye to calm my nerves, and as expected it worked.

"Look, I promise you have nothing to worry about, okay. How about this... at whatever time and point you feel nervous or uncomfortable, use the safe word and I'll help you" She tells me softly smiling.

I blink in confusion, safe word.

You mean the same safe word I have yet to use during sex, the same word I didn't think I'd ever have to use. First off, the fact that I even have to say the safe word to get away from my family is insane and ridiculous.

Before I could even disagree a guard approached Alison's side before leaning down and briefly whispering something in her ear. She nods, and the guard walks away to stand near the other guards who if I forgot to mention we're surrounding Alison and I.

"They're here" She tells me, causing my eyes to turn to the entrance, where I saw Shay and my mother walking out of the building, I forced a smile swallowing my pride. But my force smile didn't last long when I noticed behind my dearest mother and sister holding their bags was Kevin.

Great. This was just fucking perfect.

Alison looks to her guards, "why are you just standing there... get their bags" Alison demands them.

Almost immediately a few of the guards rushed off to my mother and sister, and her creep of a boyfriend.

It wasn't long before they approached Alison and I, I looked to my mother to greet her and she wasn't even looking at me. Her eyes wandered everywhere but at me, I felt pathetic.

Trying to make her happy, made me miserable. I was always trying to please this woman and I couldn't stand doing it anymore.

I noticed Kevin looking continuously between Alison and me, as if he couldn't grasp the fact that I was gay.

"We weren't formally introduced last time, I'm Shay... Emily's older sister" My sister turns to Alison greeting her, placing out her hand for her to shake.

Alison lets go of my hand and greets my older sister, "and this is my boyfriend, Kevin" she continues, introducing her unwanted and uninvited boyfriend.

"Nice to meet you.... Again" Kevin says waving to Alison. I turned to my mother who stood there with her lips poked out and arms crossed as if she was a child, a stubborn little brat.

I mean the woman wouldn't even greet Alison, at least Shay was trying but my mother? I mean what was the point of her coming down here to see me if she wasn't going to at least acknowledge Alison.
