Emily's POV

I woke up from the sunlight blinding me, I rolled over the over side of the bed to feel Alison laying there.

I catch her staring at me, I arch my eyebrows looking at her. A smirk appeared from her lips, she reached her hand and moved the strains out of my face.

"You're a very peaceful sleeper"

"How long were you watching me for?"

"Not that long", she replies before sitting up.
I follow her, sitting up and looking around.

"What time is it?", I asked her noticing there wasn't a clock in the room.

"Why? You have somewhere to be?", she asked me. I pull the covers off of me, getting out of bed almost stumbling over my jeans I tossed on the ground last night.

"Yes, actually. This is the fourth day I missed work. I don't think my boss will be too happy if I miss another", I explain to her picking up my jeans.

"Alrighty.", she says removing the covers off of herself and getting out of bed.

"What are you doing?", I asked her.
"If you're going to work, I'm taking you", she says as if I agreed to anything.

"Okay", I sigh giving in, knowing it was way to earlier in the damn morning to pick a fight with Alison.

"I'll leave you to go shower and get ready", she says making her way to the door.

"Or you could join me instead"

The words came out my mouth causing me bit my lip as Alison turned around reacting to the words that just came out my mouth.

"if I do, you'll never make it to work. Let alone walk", she responds smirking before walking out the room.

After showering and getting ready, I walk out the bedroom making my way down the stairs, and onto the first floor of Alison's large house.

I walk down the long hallway with my heels tapping against the tile floor. I eventually made my way to the kitchen that held a sitting bar, that was near the dining room.

I turned to see Alison awaiting there. She looked professional in her usual white dress shirt, slacks and black heels as her hair was placed into a high pony.

She turned noticing me, she glanced at me taking in all of me from head to toe. I walked towards her, sitting next to her.

"hi", she breathes eyes still on mine.
"hey", I smile.

What the hell was happening. Why was it like I'm on a first date with her. Like I had butterflies in my stomach, my palms were sweating and I couldn't breathe when I was around her.

"When's the last time you ate?", she asked.
"I can't remember", I tell her truthfully.

My eating schedule was the last thing I wanted to speak about. I wanted to know what happened yesterday. Why Alison told me to leave and what the hell does she do best.

She turns and calls out for someone. "Ally!", she shouts looking around, seconds later a short girl with an apron comes rushing into the kitchen.
