Emily's POV

I watched as Talia began getting dress to go to work. We spent the whole night in silence. She had not said one word to me.

I wasn't planning to talk about last night either. So I pretended to be scrolling on my phone, just acting as if this whole not talking thing wasn't bothering me.

She grabbed her jacket, and grabbed her bag. Without even making eye contact with me, she walked out the room, and shut the door.

I sighed loudly, tossing my phone on the bed.
We needed to talk.
About whatever is going on.

I slipped into my slippers and walked quickly to try and catch her before she left the apartment. I swung the bedroom door open and there she was.

Talia stood there leaning against the door frame as if she knew I would try to stop her before she left.

"So that's it? Huh? We've gone to the "Not Talking" stage?", she asked.

"The way you acted last night was ridiculous", I tell her giving her the reason why I had been ignoring her in the first place.

"Me? How do you expect me to feel after seeing my fiancé get out of a car with a woman whom you barley even know, holding each other", she said.

Was she blind?
"Holding each other? Ty, I fell and she help me off the ground", I explained.

She crossed her arms in denial, not even giving trying to believe me.

"What happened to me picking you up, you were supposed to wait for me like I told you to do so", she said as if she was controlling me.

"Last time I checked I don't need your permission to do anything. Alison offered to take me home and I thought it wasn't a big deal since the only reason I went on the stupid double date was because you suggested it.", I argued.

She fixed her mouth to say something when she was interrupted my her phone going off.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance, "go on. Answer it", I tell her crossing my arms.

She sighs swiping her screen and placing the phone to her ear.

"Sandoval speaking", she says.
I walked past her going to the kitchen. I needed to calm down. Get something to eat or drink.

I opened the door to the fridge, and there was literally only a couple of items in the fridge. Meaning I needed to go shopping.

I grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge, hearing footsteps come out from the hallway.

I turned around to see Talia walking towards the kitchen, whilst placing on her jacket.

"I gotta go", she tells me.
"okay", I say with attitude.

"Ca-can we just talk about this when I get back from work? Please?", she asked.

I shrugged my shoulders, "I guess", I tell her looking away.

She approached me to give me the normal kiss on the cheek, before she could approach me, I walked out of the kitchen.

After taking a long shower, I changed into some street clothes, deciding to go shopping. I wasn't planning telling Talia where I was going or when I planned on coming back.

I was so confused.
I was mainly frustrated with the fact that my own fiancé doesn't even trust me.

Something had to happen for her to start acting like that out of no where.

I mean she seemed fine before the dinner, but soon as she got the call. Something happened.

After spending at least a couple of hours in the super market to get a couple of things for dinner. I was now pushing the cart to my car parked in the shaded garage.

I pulled out my car key from my purse and clicked the trunk button, the trunk slowly opened by itself.

Whilst carefully placing the items from the cart to the car, I found myself getting a phone call. I stopped, reaching down in my pocket and pulling out my phone.

It was an unknown number, and when I say unknown I mean it's because it was unknown to me.

I swiped across my screen, answering it.
"hello?", I asked.

"What are you doing tonight?", the familiar voice of Alison asked me.

My eyes arched in confusion. How did she get my number.

"Alison?", I asked.
"Good Evening, Ms.Fields", she responded.

"How'd you get my number?", I asked her with concerned in my tone.

"I have my connections. Now, that I have answered your questions, answer mine. What are you doing later on tonight?", she asked.

"I-i don't know as of yet. Why?", I asked her.
"There's this party I want you to attend tonight", she tells me.

"Oh. Okay. Can Talia come as well?", I asked her, letting her know I was going Talia was most likely gonna come with me.

"If she isn't too busy working. I wouldn't want what happened yesterday to happen tonight", she explains.

"Fair enough", I tell her.
"So it's settled. I'll have a limo pick up at 9, tonight. Dress up tonight. This isn't a average type of party", she tells me.

Average type of party? What the hell is that supposed to mean.

"Okay", I respond.
"See you then", she says before hanging up the phone.

I slightly smiled, closing the trunk, and putting the cart, in the designated cart area. I walked towards driver side of the car getting inside.

I placed on my seat belt before starting the car, I was about to pull out of the parking space when my phone buzzed.

*hey, change of plans tonight. I'm gonna be working late so go out for dinner or order in. Im sorry about last night, talk in the morning? I Love you* - I read as the text message was from Talia.

I rolled my eyes, responding, *ok* before placing my phone down and driving home.

Guess I was going to the party alone tonight.
I know Talia is gonna have a fit but right now, I honestly don't care.
