Emily's POV

I need to get Alison out of my damn head. Just one night with Talia, I'm letting her ruin my relationship.

I've been with Talia for 6 years. Meaning she was my highschool sweet heart. I could remember like it was nothing.

I was in Sophomore year in high school, just got out a relationship with Ben, when this Senior caught my eye.

At first I hated her guts. She was just like every other teenage in highschool. Bitches and Assholes.

I don't know what happened for us to even get close the way the we did but I'm glad we did because to this day, I love her and I wouldn't change anything about the way we met.

I know what your wondering.
Did I stay home? Did I go see Alison?

No. As much as I could've gone, I didn't. I stayed home, and I watched tv and slept. I also drank. A lot.

I probably called someone and didn't even remember it.

I even started to clean the house to keep myself occupied.

That's how bored, I was.
I glanced over at the time; "9:43am", I sighed reaching into the closet and grabbing my long black coat to put over my black long-sleeve top and leather skirt, I decided to wear today.

It was beyond cold outside, but I didn't want to wear high knee boots. I placed on my heels tossed in my closet and walked out the chair, and grabbed my purse.

I have to work today.
Which isn't a problem I just hoped I get to see Talia before I had to leave.

Before leaving the room I grabbed my phone and security badge that allowed me to get into my work building.

I left the room, with my tails tapping against the tile floor. I walked into the kitchen to notice a note, with Talia's hand-writing.

*sorry about last night. I'll make it up too. You shouldn't have to feel like you aren't wanted by me, because you are. Everyday, morning, night and evening. I want you. I love you, enjoy your day at work*

I slightly smiled, reaching down into the fridge getting a bottle water out of it. I walked towards the front door, opening it, walking out, closing the door and locking it.

The drive to work was normal, just a lot of traffic but that's normal New York City for you.

I arrived on time. Thank God.
After swiping my badge, I entered the elevator and pressed level 14.

Moments later the elevator came to stop and the doors opened.

"Good Morning", I said to employees walking past me.

I walked down the long hallway greeting people, until turning left into my section.

Where I was greeted by Kimberly, my assistant here at Vance Enterprises.

I may have been assistant but I also get one as well.

"Morning", she said smiling.
"Hey, Kimberly. How are you?", I asked making conversation.
