The dining room was silent, nothing but glances and glares at each other. No one wanted to address the elephant in the room.

I watch as Shay slowly chews on her eggs avoiding eye contact with Talia but wouldn't stop looking at me.

"Breakfast is amazing" Kevin says breaking the silence, talking to my mother.

She smiles in appreciation, "well thank you, Kevin." My mother responds before looking at the Shay and I.

"At least someone appreciates my cooking knowing how early I got up to make it" she mumbles as if Shay and I didn't hear her.

It was obviously shade. I roll my eyes, playing with my food because I did not have an appetite what so ever.

"Just for that, I'm sure Emily and I wouldn't mind doing the dishing. Right Em?" Kevin asks trying to make conversation with me.

"It's emily. M-mah-ly" I told him sternly.

My eyes jot to him as he smiled at me, "non-sense. The guest should never have to lift a finger. So instead I'll clean the dishes and just have Shay and emily go get the groceries for dinner" my mother tells us.

"No can do. It's my birthday, I'm supposed to work-free for at least four days"

My sister says shaking her head, I rolled my eyes at her dramatic statement. As if I wanted to go shopping with her ass anyway.

"I can do it" Talia offers herself to go shopping with me when that wasn't needed, because no one and I mean literally no one asked her.

"Really?" My mother asks her smiling ear to ear, probably enjoying the fact that Talia and I spending more time with each other would save our relationship.

"Better yet.. it's seems like a good day to get out the house anyway, I should spend it with my sister who I haven't seen in so long" Shay quickly changes her mind after hearing Talia wanted to come with me.

I looked at Shay in confusion, what the hell was that about? "The list is on the fridge" my mother tells Shay who gets up from the dining room.

Oh, we're going right now?

"Why haven't you touched your food?" Tali's whispers to me, playing the role of the caring girlfriend in front of my mother.

I sigh, "because I'm not hungry. My stomach also hurting which means I probably have to take a shit. Would you like to know anymore information?" I asked her seriously.

Kevin snickers, as Shay walks back to the table, walking to Kevin.

"Emily!" My mother raises her voice as me. I roll my eyes, "I'll be in the car" I tell Shay before getting up from the table.

I watched as Kevin gives Shay a kiss goodbye before turning the corner. "Why is everyone up so early?" Bella asks before yawning walking towards me.

"It's a quarter to eleven"

"It's still early" she states.

"We're going to the store want something?" I asked her, she shakes her head before walking away from me.

I walked towards the front door grabbing the keys off of the hook and going outside. Before I could even enter the car I was stopped by Shay's voice.

"hey" She calls out.

I turn back to her.

What is it now? Why does everyone like to bother me when I want to be left alone.

She approaches me, not breaking eye contact with me. "Whose Alison?" She asks causing me to freeze.

"W-what?" I literally choked on my words.
