"hey, still stuck at the office. I know I said I would but I won't be able to take you to work today, sorry. I'll make it up you later" - Alison.

"Hey sorry I'm late... I brought donuts to make it up tho. Was there anything in the mail for me, it's been a while since I checked myself. Also why is everyone so on edge today. Jessica from downstairs was losing it" I say talking to Kimberly.

For the first time ever it actually looked like Kimberly was working. She wasn't reading or on the phone, she was typing up something on the computer... looking busy.

"What's up with you? No Harry Fanfic reading today?" I ask laughing softly before looking through the meeting list for the schedule today.

She shook her head, motioning for me to cut it out. I arch my brows looking at her in confusion. What was up with her?

Also everyone else too?

My eyes searched around realizing everyone who always playing around wasn't. They were at there desk or looking as if they were busy.

I turn back to Kimberly, "okay, what's going on? Why is everyone acting like that?" I ask him.

"That's because he's here.." Kimberly whispers before her eyes motion over to my office. I slightly and slowly turn to face my office noticing the door was half way opened....

I turn back to her in confusion.

"He? Whose he?" I whisper back.
Why was she even whispering.

"Vince Walters"

"VINCE WAL..." I cut myself off by covering my mouth, my eyes enlarged realizing I was louder than I thought I was.

I uncovered my mouth, "you could've have texted me?" I ask her seriously.

"I didn't know he was coming, he just showed up out of no where asking for you" she mumbles.

Me? Why me. God.
I swallowed hard slowly placing the box of donuts down and I turn approaching my office.

Vince Walters was the boss of this company, correction. Vince Walters was my boss. The same man who till this day I have yet to meet. Until now.

When I was interviewed for this job, I was told about Vince Walters, Walters Corporation and how the employees here would most likely never get to meet the CEO, and if we did... it's always an 100% chance you wish you didn't.

In fact everyone here probably only has seen his face once, why? Because he was so rich he didn't need to come to work. He had people who worked for people who worked for him, he was just in charge of making the money and paying them. Another rumor that also turned out to be a fact... he's among one the most wealthiest people living in New York.

Along with that came with his annoying attitude, I've heard he was a tough man to work with, simply because he thought he was above everyone and the truth was he is.

He was the CEO, everything and everyone in this office belonged to him.

Today had to be the most perfect day I decided to be late. Out of all the days I decided to wait in line for a box of donuts that my employees will get stale.
