𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐈-𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃

Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ 5: CONFLICT

"Can't you just mind your own business?". She left the room after she said that and went to the washroom.

"I know that being here will be hard, especially to the participant like me- a female applicant but I didn't knew that it will be this really hard. I've just been here for almost a day and the judgement I get is enough for a month". The lady said in her interview.

"I showed them what I can do and I thought that will be enough for them to trust me and treat me the same but that's enough for them. I'm asking to treat me equally, not to give me advantage just because I'm female. I'll show them what else I can do for me to stay in this place and reach my dream". Her voice cracked trying to hide her tears.

Everyone called to go to the practice room. She entered like nothing happened.

I-LANDERS try to put their choreography together

She went behind Ni-Ki to blend with them. The song started, her body react quickly and did the main choreography she just learn a minutes ago.

Ni-Ki and Leesu already memorized the main choreography.

"Ni-Ki! Leesu!". K yelled because of how fast the two learned the moves. The others can't help but to get amazed of the two great dancer who just memorized it all in short period.

Leesu laughed when K yelled that made her fall down after the main song stopped.

"You're distracting me!". She looked at K.

"No, I'm not!". He defend himself before they both laughed together.

The test countdown continues. They sat down in circle facing each other.

Starting to divide the parts that is being lead by Heeseung since he's the reliable one.

Someone recommend to take an audition and judge by them, everyone said yes and the proceed to picking the center or the part 1.

But no wants to raised their hands, probably are shy. They proceed to get some recommendation to get the part 1, everyone suggested Heeseung to be the part 1, even Leesu know Heeseung is more capable of that part more than anyone here.

She wants to get a part between part 2-7, at least 2 lines is okay as long as she gets to shine.

They all decided to put Heeseung to part 1. The second one is the part 2, Jay raised his hands without hesitating. But at the end, no one vote for him. Leesu forgot to raised her hand earlier for part 2 since she's shocked of how fast Jay raised his hand. For part 4, Jay and Leesu raised their hands together with the other I-LANDERS.

Leesu got the part 4 after she sang the part she wants with her soulful and harmonious voice that matches every kind of songs and genre.

But she can't sit still because she felt uncomfortable seeing Jay can't get the part he wants. She's sitting beside him, she knows what he might be feeling right now. He keeps on trying to get the part he knows where he can shine.

Leesu seen her head down, to make the person beside her that it's okay. After so many times, Jay finally get the part 8, though not the part he wants. Everyone clapped when he got that part and finally showed a smile on his lips, Leesu smile when she saw her friend finally smiled.

When everyone got their parts, they decided to begin the practice. Heeseung is taking the lead teaching the moves. While Leesu moved out of the room to learn her part since she already knew the main choreography.

In the middle of the practice, I-LANDERS decided to have fun and have dance battle just for fun. They all formed in circles.

"Really? You can do beatbox?". Leesu asked Daniel who proudly nodded while smiling at her.

The freestyling start off with Jay. Jay showed his flashy steps and everyone is having fun. Next is the dance prodigy, none other than Ni-Ki, that expected to give his best even though it just a fun showdown. Next of is Nicholas with his breakdance moves.

Leesu is having fun bouncing up and down with the beatbox that Daniel provided. She suddenly got pushed in the middle by unknown trainee, she looked at the culprit but she's already in the middle. Daniel did a new beat and Leesu's body automatically matched the beat with her body, smoothly flowing on the "dance floor", her energy went on the highest level because of how the boys hype her up.

"Leesu!!". K yelled again that made her laughed and step aside to let the others take over.

"You really won't stop that, huh!". She kick K but quickly avoided it.

"I'm just amazed! that's my way to show my support". He laughed seeing successfully made the girl turned red.

"You're just distracting me with you yelling my name everytime you see me dancing". She gulped down some water.

"Yes and that's because you're amazing dancer! I've never seen someone so great like you, I just saw them on internet or television". Leesu pulled the string of her hoodie to hide her face. She should be used with compliment but being compliment with trainees here just amazed her since they're all a great dancer and singer too.

The finale of dance off is Sunghoon who give the smooth freestyling.

Everyone went back to practice inside the practice room. They are being lead with Heeseung. But others are complaining on how he lead all of them that brings to unethical decision.

Leesu can be seen walking away from the circle of I-LANDERS when they start talking about Heeseung. She just can't.

After an hour, Leesu went back to the practice room and saw Jake and Seon having a hard time keeping up with the others.

"You two need help?". She approach the two. They're both a bit of hesitant.

"We are obviously one of the trainee that don't have the longest training period. We're still not used to this". Leesu nodded as she listened to Seon who happened to be his roomie.

"That's fine, you will get to used it. Memorizing choreography takes time, it just happened you are with the fast learners. If you don't mind, I can help you- if you just want of course". She chuckled while holding her tablet tightly.

"We're good! We'll try again and keep on practicing". Leesu understand what Seon replied.

"Okay then, If you need my help, I'm just one call away". She smile and walked away to continue practicing.

As the try out started where I-LANDERS have to show the main choreography to Heeseung and Ni-Ki, Leesu can feel Seon and Jake look so nervous, they've been sighing since Jungwon started and give off a great performance, same with the others.

It's Leesu's time to dance. She got up and went in the middle. K clicked the sound, Leesu dance as soon as she heard the music. Her body automatically glued to the music like they flow together.

Everyone clapped their hands. Heeseung didn't say anything because he knows she did great.

After the try out Jake and Seon has been off, she knows what they feel so she make her move when that's not her things.

"Am I interrupting something?". She asked and peeked through, saw the two guys looked so exhausted.

"You came in the right time". Jake smile as he arrange his hair.

"Is there a problem that I can help with?". Leesu sat down across them.

"Sorry for turning down your offer, is still available?". Seon asked and looked at Jake.

"Of course, I'm happy to help". She chuckled and got up from her seat. She extend her arm to Jake, he pulled it and use the strength to stand up. Next is Seon and did the same thing. They're finally smiling as they walked out the room.

As she expected everything that is happening under Heeseung's hands is not going well. Most of tbe I-LANDERS are pressured with the choice they made to have an individual dance routine in front of everyone, Leesu can't blame the I-LANDERS but he can't just blame Heeseung too, after all that is also the I-LANDERS fault, to agree with that set-up.

Eventually, I-LANDERS are gathered in once place.
