𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐈-𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃

Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ75: SHOELACE

It's already in the middle of July, we successfully wrapped up our comeback and received a lot of good feedback not just from our fans but also from other people.

Last month, we already announced to the public our first ever tour and we're going to start first at Asia.

We've been practicing for the tour. Thankfully, our schedules is not that hectic because we still have time for ourselves while preparing for the tour.

"You haven't talk about it to him?". Imo looked at me in disbelief.

"They're busy with the preparation of their tour too. I don't want to cause him any problem". I casually said.

I'm at her house to just visit her for just a couple of hours since It's been a couple of months since we saw each other. The last time we saw each other was when the boys just got back from the making of their new music video in Poland.

"So you has been keeping that all by yourself?". I nodded as an answer.

"I don't have a choice-"

"Yes, you have. How many times does you guys call each other?". She cut my words off.

"In the past, at least once a day but now, two to three times a week". I faintly smile.

"And Jay let that happened? He's not that kind of person, we know that".

"I know... I just want to stop talking about that now". I replied before leaning on the couch with my eyes closed.

Ever since what happened last month, we've been on and off.

Flashback

"So, now what? You're just letting that to end?". Sunghoon asked. We bumped into each other on the way back to our own practice room from the cafe.

"I am not. It's his fault, I'm not going to make a move for him". I firmly said to him.

"He's been stressed lately and that started when you don't answer his calls and messages, even avoiding him-"

"You don't need to explain, you guys are not involved here. I'm sorry if you guys are stressed too because of us but really, just let us fix this— if he still wants to". I fake chuckled and said goodbye to him before parting ways.

The day after, It was Jay who I bumped into after buying drinks at the cafe. I walked passed him but he quickly got my wrist and pulled me to one of the studio room.

"Let go". I said while looking at his hand on my wrist.

"Sorry". He said and quickly let go my wrist and turned around.

The two of us become quiet. I started to twist the door-

"Leesu, wait!". He faced me and directly looked at me in the eyes.

"Love, I'm sorry...". I avoided his eyes, it's my weakness.

"I'm sorry... I don't know how to explain why I did that. I was so busy and stressed with everything-". He hold my hand, I still avoiding his eyes.

"I love you and I always care about you, you know that. I want to know your schedules, what happened to your day, and just casual make conversation-"

"I admit it that it was my fault, I'm sorry". Unknowingly, a drop of tear escape from my eyes. I quickly wiped it and turned back.

"I'm really sorry, don't cry, please". His calm voice just make my heart softened.

"Love...". He hugged me from the back with his arms on my waist. I hold it before turning around and hug him back. I tried my best not to cry. He hugged me tightly as he caressed my back and keeps on whispering sorry.

End of Flashback

After that happened we came back to normal, but after 3 weeks, it happened again. Now, I blocked his number. He's using the other boys' numbers to get to me but I still ignored it. I've had enough of him being like that.

One day, Yunjin suddenly wants to go in Aquarium Park. The girls didn't feel like going, I decided to come with her.

"It's like Grade 8 or something since the last time I went to an Aqua Park. I wonder what it looks like now". I said while on my phone. We're on our way now to the park.

"I suddenly saw this video-". Yunjin faced her phone to Leesu and started to play the video.

"Wow... that looks awesome". She mumbled as she watched it.

"Right? And then I remembered that it's been ages since I went here". Yunjin sit back when the video ended.

"Oh, so already been there?". Yunjin nodded as an answer.

"Yeah, that was when we visited Korea when I was in 5th Grade. I remember some of it but mostly, they are blurred". She added.

When we got there on time and proceed to the entrance. Yunjin showed the QR Code to the staff before tapping into the scanner, the staff gave us a wristband. After putting them, we proceed inside.

"Wait, my shoelace". I called Yunjin to wait for me and then proceed to kneel down to tie my shoelace.

"O-ooh!"

The next thing I know, I'm now sitting on the floor.

"I'm so sorry!". The person that dumped me which made me end up on the floor said as he offer his hand.

"No, it's fine". I said and stand up without his help.

"Are you okay?-". I nodded and looked up then realized whose in front of me.

"Loise!".
"Oh my god! Daehwi?".

We both got shocked to see each other and attempting to give each other a warm hug when we both realized we're in public.

"What are you doing here?— Aaahh, right. This is my friend, Yunjin-". I pulled Yunjin closed to me as I introduced her.

"- Yunjin, this is Daehwi, a great friend of mine". I added, the two greet each other.

"Anyways, are you okay? I was too mesmerized at the fishes that I didn't saw you there. I'm sorry". He looked at the floor where I was kneeling down, which where I'm standing now.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Don't worry, it's nothing". I said and laughed because I know it's my fault too.

"Oh my god... I think I lost our tickets". Yunjin suddenly said.

"Where did you put it?". My attention goes to her.

"I'm not sure. Wait here, I'll check at the entrance". Without waiting for me, she quickly left.

"So... how have you been?". Daehwi asked.

"Wait, do you mind if I tie your shoelace?". He looked at my shoe. Shoot, I forgot about it.

"Oh, yeah. I got this". I said and kneel down for the second time and quickly tied it. I stand up and looked at the aquarium that full of different fishes.

"I received the flower you sent when I debuted, thank you for that by the way". I said.

"It's nothing. I've been busy with work and I didn't have time to accept your invitation for your group's showcase". He said and faced the aquarium too.

"That's fine, I know how busy you are that's why when you texted me that you sent a flower, I was so shocked". I replied.

After catching up for a little, Yunjin arrived. She wiggles the tickets on her fingers.

Soon after, Daehwi and I bid goodbye to each other with a promise to see each other again when our schedules match. Meanwhile, Yunjin and I continue to roaming around to see different animals in the water.

We even take a couple of pictures to share with FEARNOTs.
