LEESU' POV

I knew that this day would come, I knew it the day I decided to reach out to them. I knew that this conversation would open someday, in random times. But, even how many times I prepared myself, I still lose it.

I already knew him for a couple of years, everything about him, I know. His family, his friends, and even his smallest random events in his life that he shares to me even in messages.

I find it endearing that he always sends me random stuff through messages. Him holding an ice cream, him just taking a pictures of his foods, when he's taking a walk, shopping, and even a pictures of his members.

I won't lie, he's been more gentle to me since we reconnected. Well, he's been gentle to me ever since but this, it's different.

"You know, our positions. Our work, that is not our priority, especially me". I replied and follow him to lean on the railings.

"It's not even a year since I debuted, do you think that is the right thing to do? Why are you doing this?". I can't help myself.

"Then, what I should? I can't help it! I always gets excited thinking about you, meeting you after busy days, talking to you even if it's just a video call". He said, I can't believe to what he said.

"Jay... is that really importan-"

"It is, Eloise!". I cam feel him looking at me.

"Give me some time to process everything. I can't just give you an answer then regret it in the end". I said and exhale, then continue walking.

I keep on walking knowing he's just walking behind me.

Finally, there's already a convenient store, I'm about to reach the handle when he open it. I continue walking as I rubbed my hands together.

I went to the aisle where the heat pack is and grabbed it. I also got some gummies.

On the way to the counter, he's already there. Paying for whatever he's buying. I wait for him to finished then paid the things I bought.

We're not talking, just feeling each other what we're going to do next.

I didn't went out the store first, I go to the chair available and sit. I prepare the heat pack I'll use, as well as the gummies.

I throw a piece of gummy into my mouth then shake the heat pack. He sits a little away from me. I can still see his every moves in my peripheral vision. He slides the chips in front of me after opening it, then an ice cream.

"Wow, Ice cream in a winter". I said and get it.

"Eating ice cream in winter is more delicious". He said.

After we finished our snacks, We decided to go home.

As Jay promised, he dropped me off at our dorm.

"Uhm, thanks for the ride- and also for the dinner". I said to him before taking off my seatbelt.

"That's nothing. I know it's already late for this but, here you go". He pulled out somewhere the random paper bag that I didn't noticed earlier.

"I already told you, I don't want any gift. Jay, you're spending too much for me". I put down his hand to relax.

"Eloise, this is my only way to show my appreciation for years of our friendship. I didn't get a chance to celebrate your birthday last two years. I wasn't there when you needed me". He handed the paper bag again.

"You don't have to. I don't want you to spend on something for me. I just want us to bond, I don't need material things". I hold his hand, turning down it.
