When the news quickly spread on different social media platforms, Leesu and Jay are summoned by the company via online meeting knowing both of the idols is currently promoting overseas.
They both know that this time will come, as much as they are prepared for this moment, they can't help but to be nervous, especially Leesu. She has been called by many names with other fans because the relationships she has with the other groups, not just ENHYPEN. Some doesn't want her to get near their Idols, specially male kpop idols and Leesu is aware of that. Jay reassured her that everything will be okay even though he's not sure too. Luckily, LE SSERAFIM and ENHYPEN members are supporting the two.
The company, asked them what they want to do, should they confirm it or just leave as it is. For some reasons, the company supports them, or they simply doesn't care. They've been monitoring the two about their works and it stays the same. They doesn't get distracted or anything, in short, they can handle their work as well as their relationship. Jay and Leesu know that they prioritize their work more than anything that's why they're been doing great.
At the end, the decision is still on them. The two already decided about this. They decided to release a statement, an open statement that doesn't involve any confirmation. It's up to the public how they want to comprehend it.
They are also prohibited from interacting with each other starting from the award shows for the following weeks and will not see each other outside except inside the company while waiting for the rumor to lay low, it is what's the best for everyone.

The day comes for ENHYPEN's mini album comeback and they've been staying at Korea until they finished their promotion. LE SSERAFIM on the other hand, just got back from US for their promotion.
"I'm sorry we won't be able to celebrate together your birthday this year". Jay said on the phone that made Leesu furrowed her eyebrows.
"It's just a birthday! Another ordinary day, there's no need to celebrate or whatsoever. We're both know we're busy so stop saying sorry". Leesu reply and get up from her seat.
"Still, birthday is only once a year. There are 365 days but you only get to celebrate a day where it's about you then you wait another 365 days for that to happen again". She just chuckled and rolled her eyes.
"Whatever. It's not that important anyways. I don't want to hear another sorry from you again about that topic. Please, you know me". She get back to her seat and look at the camera.
"Don't be sorry about it, okay? It's totally fine!". Jay just nodded with pursed smile.
Just like what Leesu expected, it's just another day for her when her birthday comes but the people around her made her feel that it's a special day for her.
She might be firm about her belief that it's just an ordinary day, she surely knows how to value that time and effort that her loved ones make for her to feel special on that day.
