𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐈-𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃

Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ30: REST

"Leesu-ssi won't be able to join her team for today and tomorrow. The doctor recommend for her to rest until tomorrow". The staff announced to other trainees.

"But she will be joining us the next day? Is that safe? considering what happened earlier and the injury she got from fall". Geonu voice out. He clearly saw the whole thing.

"Her doctor said she's fine and will be able to participate in the test one. All the results are good, that's why. She just need to rest". The staff explained again to the boys.

"One more thing, Leesu-ssi wanted to say that don't come to infirmary for the meantime". Staff added before leaving them.

The boys feel into silence as they're thinking about what they just heard.

"Is Noona really okay?". Ni-Ki asked to his hyungs.

"I think she is, we need to give her what she want us to do. Let's go back to practice. There's nothing to worry about, she will be back tomorrow as a whole". K said as he comfort his fellow trainee.

Everyone get back to their own practice room. While the I Need U team is barely keeping. Thanks to Jungwon who stand there as the temporary leader to lead the group.

"Heeseung-hyung, do you think Leesu is really okay?". Jay asked when he saw him inside the pantry, while looking for snacks.

"I'm not sure but I'm worried. She would not say to us not to go to infirmary if she's really okay because I'm sure she will said it herself that there's nothing serious". Heeseung replied and lean on the wall.

"But I'm hoping, I'm hoping that she just really want some alone time and there's nothing serious". Heeseung continue the conversation.

"I hope too, because we know that this is her last chance she gave to herself to achieve her dream to be an idol". Jay said that made Heeseung realized it.

On the other hand, the infirmary is quiet. Leesu is currently sleeping who got tired of crying.

She's been vocal to her trainee friends about her dreams and the allotted time she gave to herself to achieve that. All the people around her that she trust the most knows that time is getting close. She can't lose to this battle.

Being a trainee for so long is such a crazy journey. You know that you improve a lot, you're already there at your highest but the company still can't see it until almost five years past and nothing happened. She's still the same girl practicing for hours inside the practice room and go home all worn out.

The door of the one room in the infirmary quietly opening. Leesu wants to go out, she dragged her foot to leave the room but halfway, she feel it started to hurt. She gave up and frustratedly sit back to the bed.

She look at her hurting foot, those scenarios she had in her mind flashback. Leesu sniffles as she look to the side and saw the window, the dark sky welcome her. She can't help but to cry. All of her hard work will fade off if she didn't do her very best in this competition.

The next day, Leesu still inside the white room all alone. She force herself to get her body back to its condition.

The first test for this part 2 is tomorrow and yet she's here isolating.

"Can I go back tonight?". Leesu asked respectfully to the staff who bought her lunch.

"Yeah, as long as you're in the good condition. You also look okay now". The staff replied and smile as she continue to close the door.

Leesu left alone again and eat her lunch. After an hour of rest, she get back to practice inside the room. She didn't waste time. The night slowly ended and she's all done preparing herself.
