LEESU'S POV

"It's been a while, so how are you?". I asked her.

"Well, I just resigned to my previous job and now weighting the other offers I got". Ken replied.

"That's nice! I'm happy for you". I hold Ken's hand.

"Also... I'm seeing someone". My eyes widened.

"OMG! Show me, show me". My friend quickly go to her photos and show her their pictures together.

Our food arrived and continue to catch up with each other. The level of dopamine in me is another level. I never felt like this for a long time.

"Enough about me, how about you? Your idol life". Kennedy said and place her hands under her chin.

"Well, you already know I have a boyfriend. We just finished our first comeback this year and we're preparing for fanmeet. Mom and Dad are doing okay after the accident last year, as well as my siblings. I don't know but we're planning to make Mom an Dad retired so they can just rest. Let's be honest, they are not getting any younger". I sighed because it's true.

My parents is just a couple of year away from being a seniors. Obviously, they had me late, my siblings are now at the stage in their life getting ready to settle while I'm just getting started to fulfill my dreams and enjoy my life.

"You're right, that's what I also saying to Mom but she said she still wanted to be able to cure people. I'm still convincing her to stop being a Neurologist and just stay home or should I just give up and do what she want?". We both just laughed.

"I can't believe that this is what we are talking about now! We're grown up!". She said.

We continue to enjoy the company of each other that we haven't done in a while, It brings back memories.

Our conversation started to get deep, as well as the day. It's already evening and we decided to go to our house so she can have dinner with my family too.

We arrived at our house and went inside. Just in time, they are already arranging the table.

"Kennedy!". Chloé rushed to Ken when she saw her.

"Really? You miss Ken now that I'm here?". I pout because my niece only greet my friend.

"Oh- Sorry! Of course, I miss you too but we'll be together for the next days and I just only seen Ken today". I don't know since when this kid learn that attitude.

"You know I can take back the shoes you asked for?". I jokingly raised my eyebrows to her.

"I'm just joking! Geez". She hold my hand and just dragged us to the dining room.

"Thank you for inviting me, Mrs. Harris!". Ken said and kiss Mom's cheeks then hug her.

"You're always welcome, sweetie! Sit down already. Her siblings are just parking their car, they'll be here in a seconds". Mom said and pulled an empty chair. I sit beside Ken.

That night, It's simply but memorable. I'm eating in one table with my loved ones, talking, laughing, just a perfect moment that I don't want to end. If I could only freeze the time, I would.

After dinner, Ken and I go to my room since Mom insisted to make Ken stay for tonight since going home at this time is not good for her. I'm really happy when Ken agreed. She still have errands for tomorrow that's why I didn't asked her to stay for tonight and we're going to the Airport at 7:00 in the morning for our flight to Paris.

It's already 11:00 PM, I'm sitting in front of my vanity to take off my makeup. Ken walks out of my bathroom after she change clothes.

My phone rang. I look at the caller and smile.

"Who's that person that made THE Eloise Harris looking at her phone?". Ken run towards me and look at my phone.

"Shut up!". I laughed and get away from her and answer the call.

"Hi!". I said and wave at the screen.

"Hi, Love!". I smile because I haven't heard his voice since I got here.

I'm actually sad because ever since New Year, we've seen each other twice and most of it we only spent 1-2 hours together. After New Year, they quickly prepared for the continuation of their tour while we prepared for our comeback. We also didn't see each other before I went here. We're lucky if we're both on break, holding our phone and texting each other. Sometimes, we video call while laying on bed but 30 minutes after, it's either one of us both fell asleep or both of us. That's the reality of our relationship and I totally understand that, we both understand that above all, we prioritize our work.

"Why are you awake so early? Do you guys have early schedule?". I asked and lean on my headrest.

"Actually, our schedule will start before afternoon. I woke up early so I can catch you before you go to bed". Jay replied, I'm really touched.

"That's so sweet! You must be tired from your last schedule". I said, biting my lower lip.

"Stop that-". I released my lower lip and playfully rolled my eyes.

"By the way, how's your trip going there?". He continued.

"It's pretty smooth considering it's a long flight. Mom and Dad was surprised as expected. My body is still adjusting to their timezone— Oh! I want you to meet someone, hold on". I jump off my bed to walk towards Ken who's now replaced me in front of my vanity.

"Kennedy, meet my boyfriend, Jay". I introduced the two to each other. I just laughed when they both got surprised.

"Hi! It's my pleasure to meet you even though in just a phone. I've heard many things about you from Eloise". Jay said.

"Nice to meet you too! What kind of words did you heard from your girlfriend? Is it bad?". I slap her shoulder to make her stop.

"Hey! It's not— well, actually I might". I laughed when she push me away.

"Anyways, I'll leave you two talk first. It looks like you both miss each other". She wiggled her eyebrows with mischievous smile attached on her lips.

Ken leave my room for the meantime. I walk back to my seat.

"Are you guys having a sleepover?". He asked

"Yeah, but it's just a couple of hours since she has to do some errands tomorrow while we need to get to the airport early morning too". I replied.

"Airport? We're you guys going?". Oh shoot, I haven't told him.

"Just this morning when we're having breakfast with the rest of my siblings, my older brother decided last minute to go all of us to Paris. He said that we can spend some time out of the country. I forgot to tell you". I explain and slowly sliding down on my bed, jet lag is slowly getting into me.

"That's nice! I agree with your brother too. This is not always happening so it's good to not waste time. The question is, how's your condition?". He suddenly got worried.

"I'm fine, I want to spent this time with them. If I can just not sleep so the the time gets longer, I would do it". I replied with what's on my mind.

"I know that you've been wanting that but make sure you also put yourself first. If you're tired, you can pause then continue again. You just came from a heavy schedule before you flee and the next day you're flying again. I'm not saying you stop spending time with your family, but take it slow. Love, are you listening?". I know that he'll nagged me and I understand him.

"Yeah, I'm listening. I absolutely understand it". I replied with sleepy voice.

We talk for a few minutes before saying goodbye. Just in time, Ken enter my room and sit on my bed. We both get ready to sleep.
