Chapter 10: Trapped In The Subway?!

"Wait, please!" Silver shouts after I rush to the subway, and he starts to chase after me; he continues, "Wait, I-I'm sorry if this event makes you angry or scar-"

I cut his sentence while I stopped and quickly whirled my body around, putting my bold look on my face, but I failed instead to show him my puzzled face, "It's not like this!"

"Then, what it's about when you tried to run away?" He asked me with his confused face, and I struggled to find some words to answer this question, "I-I w-was... thinking about my mother, that's all. Yeah!"

I have to avoid this question! I'm scared to answer this inquiry, and I'm too afraid!

He stops two inches from where I was standing, and he looks astounded to see me.

"Um..! Rose? We had been discussing lying before, but if you're fibbing-" He uses his finger to point at me; that's when I got confused and looked down on my body; I was shocked to see the dark mists around me.

"What?!" I nearly scream.

No..! I wouldn't be lying, I'm sorry, and I promise that I'll be telling the truth!

"You want to know what I think? Well, here is it!" I pause as I quickly look up at his puzzled face, and we were staring into each other's eyes while I say something like this; "I-I l-like-like you, Silver White,"

Everything went slow motion as everybody was walking or running to get work but in idle mode, and everything sounded blank except the violin came on.

Oh, fuck! I said it..! I say something stupid to the one I like so much, and it makes me feel like I want to run away! But, I'm in nowhere, and I'm still stuck with Silver White in Los Angeles. So why isn't he saying something back to me? Have I upset him? No, I don't think so-

"I know." He starts to walk closer towards where I was standing, and he continues to say, "I already knew this, don't worry. I'm sure that you will remember this in one day but right now, let me get you home."

He stands this close like his body to my face, and I puzzledly look up at his smiley face.

Wait, what? Had I said it to him before? Wait, Lucifer had said something such a compelling fact to me because I didn't trust his instincts, but he said it to me.

"... You've been saved so many times, and you may not remember this," Lucifer said in my mind like an echo.

I don't remember this, but I might feel like I do. When I was a child, I used to go to the forest near my old house..!

"I would like to stay here in America, and it would make sense for my grandmothers to live here so long," I explain.

Before I moved to London from New York, my father had sold my mother's things the house and left me with nothing belonging to my mother. But there's one thing that she left me is love. So we went and moved on from this house to London. I was 15, and I was too young to live in New York alone.

"The subway is arriving from Santa Monica to Compton. I repeat This is a subway from Santa Monica to Compton." It sounds like Lucifer, but he uses his magic, and he continues, "You're welcome! Go to Compton and then once you're there, use the flying ability to New York, Silver! Go now!"
