2 years have passed since Bruno and Ramona's wedding, today the youngest Madrigal, Estrella turned 5.. and we all know what that means in the beautiful town of Encanto!!
Y/n's Pov
Rushing around town with my dear Camilo helping him complete chores and get everything ready for tonight's gift ceremony wasn't as tough as it may sound
Inez was helping Mirabel with decorations as Camilo and I did our best to help those in town before we needed to head back to casita
I was lost in thought sitting on the bench holding a basket of groceries when I felt a gentle thumb caress my chin, "What's my beautiful girl thinking about?" Camilo asks carefully lifting my chin up to meet his eyes
I let out a light laugh, "Just about tonight that's all." I reply, "Excited? Nervous? Be more specific you know you can tell us." He cutely emphasizes to the baby that he's holding
I smiled and shook my head, "nothing really just how crazy it is how time flies by.. it feels like just yesterday my sister and I found Ramona and Estrella in the woods.."
"Yeah it does, it's a good thing though right?"
"Yeah, and I wonder what her gift will be.."

It was known upon eachother that this would be the last gift ceremony Abuela would be in charge of, another crazy thing when time passes so fast.
As we waited in the crowd for the youngest Madrigal, Camilo stood on my right side, and Inez on my left. I couldn't be more proud and feeling more accomplished, never could I have guessed that a birthday party of mine gone wrong could lead to a trail of events leading up to this beautiful moment, a whole family.
The doors flung open and the tiles clattered across the floor as drumroll played and there stood the beautiful young girl wearing a white longsleeve dress and wore her hair in a braided crown half up to still be showing her soft black curls
Estrella's green eyes were wide open, she practically looked like a deer in headlights, it seemed that her eyes located the direction of where Bruno and Ramona were, and so she took a deep breath and went one foot after the other.
Once she reached the top she looked more determined than ever, the crowd viewed in awe, I felt a gentle hand take mine and without looking I knew it was Camilo's, neither of us could take our eye off this memorable moment.
"Will you use your gift to honor our miracle? Will you serve this community, and strengthen our home?"
With her little hands on the magic candle, Estrella politely agreed
She then carefully approached the enchanted door with an 'E' engraved on the doornob, if we had any seats, we'd be on the edge of them.
Estrella placed her hand on the doornob and just like that, the door bursted in shimmery flames, sparks flying
I felt Camilo place his hands on my shoulders, gently massaging them.
Estrella then suddenly took a step back and held her hands open, when all of a sudden
Chime
Gasp!
A beautiful shiny emerald appeared in the palms of her little hands. She pointed a finger and sprouted a little earring sized diamond gem
The door shined bright as an older looking figure of a girl holding a diamond appeared, and plastered over her head was 'Estrella'
A wide smile appeared on Estrella's face as Abuela took her free hand and cheered "we have a new gift!"

Estrella's room looked like a normal little girl's room would, but as we walked further in it was like the inside of a princess castle with a variety of jewels displayed in the walls, paintings, a waterfall, and a chandelier to compliment the dark purple walls
The remainder of the party was a blast, amazing food, the best jams, just like any fiesta Madrigal!
The only thing off about it was Camilo's behavior towards me. It's not like he was mean or anything, but he was doing stuff like going to talk to friends or family members then looking back at me and whispering into their ear?? I don't know but that's not all
Camilo also just seemed nervous and jittery around me again. Almost like the times when we first met when we were 18
"Camilo?" I asked, he jolted around to face me "everything okay?"
He had a nervous smile on his face "haha, of course mi reina. Just really excited you know?" He brushed a strand of hair behind my ear, "come, lets go dance."
With that being said the night continued, Camilo kept denying my concerns so I figured it was just family party jitters
But shortly before the party ended, I couldn't help but notice Camilo talking to Estrella. It sounded secretive, but the little green eyed girl just nodded along looking somewhat excited, they gave eachother the 'hush' signal before parting ways.
