I was deeply asleep dreaming about flowers and waterfalls, what a calm yet beautiful setting.. that was until the sound of a party horn blasted through my ear

I gasped and shot myself up throwing my hand over my chest, "SURPRISE!" The many voices yelled, after rubbing my eyes I opened the to see the young Madrigal girls along with Inez sitting at my bed facing me holding a birthday F/t, my favorite..

"Happy Birthday Sissy!" She widely grinned handing over the tasty treat. I supported my weight on my elbows raising my eyebrow at the girls, "Don't get me wrong but you guys nearly gave me a heart attack and inturrupted a beautiful dream I was having.." I say accepting the F/t

Mirabel sighed, "yeah sorry about that, it was this dingus' idea" she says gesturing towards Inez who gave a fake hurt expression "I'm sorry I just wanted to do something nice for my big sis on her birthday. Anyways, get ready sleepyhead! Time for breakfast!" Inez cheered playfully

I chuckled and gave in, "alright I'll meet you guys downstairs"

I was strolling through town later that day with Mirabel and Inez, talking about anything and everything. "We should check out the crystal stand next!" Mirabel suggested

"Of course you would wanna check it out" Inez said, "Why do you say it like that?" Mirabel asked

"Oh I don't know but it's doesn't come off as much of a surprise that you belive in crystals, you probably believe they bring you good energy or something." Inez teased

Mirabel laughed and playfully knudged her arm, I tossed my head back and sigh "When can I see my boyfriend." I whined knowing damn well I haven't seen Camilo all day

"Soon I Promise there's just a lot of gift requiring chores at the house." Mirabel laughed

I sighed, "By the way if I can remember well, didn't you mention wanting to get your nails done?" Inez suggested

I furrowed my eyebrows together looking up in thought, "did I?"

Inez and Mirabel exchanged looks although Mirabel looked less nervous than Inez "mhm! Just the other day when we were picking out a new dress for you remember?" Inez suggested

"Uh I mean if you wanna get our nails done then sure!"

"Okay!"

"Yeahhh let's do it!"

I looked at myself in the living room mirror as a smoothened out my dress. Turned my back to the mirror to admire my hair and back profile

Tonight we were going out to take pictures out on the town but the Madrigals wanted to see me first.

"Ready to go pretty girl?" I hear Camilo's voice ask from behind. I turn to face him, "mhm." I say stepping closer to place both my hands on his shoulders, as he placed his hands on my lower back to pull me into a gentle kiss

"Let's get going princesa." He smiled, "I'll never get tired of you calling me that." I say placing another kiss on his lips

"That's definetly something I'll keep in mind."

Once we got to the house I felt Camilo getting more jittery, and his palm felt sweaty, "Cariño? Are you okay? You seem a little off-"

"No everything is fine. I'm just really excited for you! Besides when you're this deep in love the butterflies never completely go away.." he answered shakily with a nervous smile

I just smiled and nodded, "you will never stop being cute Camilo Madrigal."

We opened to the door to reveal yet another birthday jumpscare, "SURPRISE!!!" Everybody yelled

My jaw dropped and my eyes widened, most of the village along with the family were here with decorations, food, music and a really pretty cake

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY Y/N!!"

I felt tears well up in my eyes as I felf my nose sting. "Awe don't cry mi vida!" Pepa cooed as she came over to me and engulfed me into a hug, Camilo joined in right away

Isabella then put a flower crown on my head, "for the birthday girl!" And Luisa gave me a little stuffed Donkey with a party hat, "Awe it's so cute!" I exclaimed

The party was more than I could ask for, the dancing and the food and I even got the pictures I wanted. Right now I was performing a karaoke song with Inez and Ramona like back at the cabin. Everybody cheering us on and enjoying the party

Camilo's Pov

I watched in the crowd as my beautiful girlfriend was singing upstage, her voice was so angelic yet fun at the same time. The way she dances and sways to the music is so well and it's the same girl that still gets my heart beating after all these years.

When Y/n got off stage she ran to my arms, I quickly picked her up off the ground and kissed her "You're so amazing." She just smiled happily in response.

"When I'm done taking pictures, can we dance some more?" She asks, god that twinkle in her eyes gets me everytime

"Y-yeah.. I'll come find you." I reply, she pecked my lips once again. When we parted ways I did my best to shake off the nerves

I went to my room to freshen up and make sure I look okay. I went back to the party but I couldn't quite find Y/n

"Camilo!"

I looked around and saw Estrella, I go over to her and kneel down to meet her lever "she's over there" she whispers covering the side of her mouth handing me a velvet box

"Thanks Estrellita." I smiled placing a small kiss on her cheek, she smiled up at me in response before going back with my tio

I put the box in my jacket pocket and walked off to where Y/n was. Clearing my throat and wiping the sweat off my hands

Come on Camilo, get your gameface on. I walked closer feeling the air tence up and my heart beat faster with every step I take

I see Y/n turn around, "yes Camilo?" God she's beautiful. I put my hand out for her "Can we dance?"

She nodded and we walked to the dance floor where slow music was playing. We held eachother close, her hands around my neck and I had 1 hand on her lower back and the other on her upper back

"Did you have a fun night princesa?" She nodded and gave me a grin, "I did, even more with you Cami" she said softly leaning in closer to me until our noses touched, I didn't hesitate to close the distance between me and my beautiful girl, tasting her sweet lips

As much as I didn't want to, I parted ways from the lovely lady in front of me. "I love you Y/n."

"I love you too Camilo."

I sighed happily as the song came to an end, "I'm glad you feel that way.. mi amor. You mean more to me than words can describe, and I've never felt more alive then when you first came into my life. We may be getting older and thing's change, but as time goes by I can only be sure of one thing.."

Y/n's Pov

Camilo slowly got down on one knee and pulled out a beautiful ring in a velvet box.

I heard gasps at every corner and could hardly focus with my tears falling from my eyes and the loud sound of my beating heart

"Te amo, Y/N M/N L/N.. will you marry me?" Camilo asked me with hope and love in his eyes.

"Yes!" I cried practically falling to my knees out of pure happiness, luckily he caught me just in time and brought me back up.

Camilo slid the ring onto my finger and pulled me in dipping me down and kissing me

Many voices cheering echoed through my ear as I focused on this beautiful moment with the man of my dreams.

A/n: I'm so sorry this took so long to update im grateful for those still reading. I had too much going on and didn't feel ready to keep writing but im finally back on my feet so i hope you enjoy this story and what's yet to come.
