My husband Camilo held me close on the dancefloor under the stars could be described as one of those moments in life where reality feels altered.

When I pressed my head against his chest I could hear his heart beating as I gazed up at the stars, the soft sound of the music in the background

"Is it everything you've dreamed of hermosa?" Camilo asked, I answered him by turning my head to have my lips meet his

"Does that answer your question?" I say with a light laugh, he returned the light laugh as he spun me, something about this night gave me deja vu

I rested my head on his shoulder as we stayed dancing "Do you ever wonder what could've happened if life turned out different?"

"Different how?"

"Like if Mirabel hadn't introduced us.. or if Inez never showed up or.." I quieted down at the last part

"Or..?"

"Or if your eyes landed on someone else that night." I spoke softly. "You think that could've happened? If I hadn't seen you?" Camilo questioned

I pulled away from his shoulder trying to shake off my thoughts, "No just-"

"Y/n, if things had turned out different we wouldn't have found eachother the way we did. I'm just happy to know we would've." Camilo said holding my hand

"You believe in soulmates?" I asked, "of course, I found mine didn't I?" He laughed before kissing me once again

For our honeymoon we were at this tree house near a beach, about to go swimming

"Y/n! Are you almost ready??" Camilo shouted from the next room

"Yeah yeah almost." I said walking out applying the last of my sunscreen on my arm while I walk out of the previous room I was in

"Hey have you seen my new shades anywhere?" I ask my husband without taking my eyes off my forearms where I gently rubbed the sunscreen.

I didn't hear a reply so I shifted my focus towards Camilo to see him staring at me as if he were looking at a gold mine

"Cami?" I chuckled pointing his chin up to meet my eyes, "sorry sorry!" He blurted, I laughed "no it's okay, we're married and it is our honeymoon after all.." I spoke slyly

Camilo sighed as he refrained from putting his hands on my body "I say we atleast wait until after a day at the beach."

"Okay love." I said putting on a dress over the swimsuit I had on as we headed out.

This streets had all kinds of fun people playing instruments and selling icecream, a huge plus to this perfect sunny day.

The warmth of the may air hit my skin as my lips savored the taste of my popsicle (or icecream/sorbet/whateva you like)

With my treat in one hand and my husbands hand in the other we arrived to the warm sand by the beautiful sea

"This is just amazing, everything looks beautiful." I say removing my shades to see the bright blue sky complimenting the ocean

"Isn't it?" Camilo's voice crept next to my ear as he stood behind me, I removed my dress and sandals and next thing I know i'm standing in the water before Camilo began a splash fight with me.

After a beautiful day full of swimming, laughing, you name it, we layed on the towel above the sand looking up at the pinkish orange sky, my head on Camilo's chest with his arm around me as I held his hand

"Did you get any deja vu from today?" I asm him, I feel him laugh lightly beneath me "I did, I'm guessing you did too?" He chuckled

"Mhm" I say visualising the first year of our relationship, when he took me to explorer the world outside my comfort zone.

Flashback

"Come on princesa! The waters amazing!" He yelled, I took a deep breathe with my eyes shut here goes nothing.

I stepped back a bit, and charged forward diving into the water, the feeling was impecable. Big splash as I got to the water and swam back up to the surface, I see Camilo looking at me with his jaw dropped, "Wow, I didn't think you had it in you.."

I shook my head, "there is a lot about me you don't know, I have many layers." I exclaim looking up at the sky, Camilo swam around me "see Y/n? Sometimes you gotta just leave your worries behind you!"

I giggled splashing him which quickly led to a splash war between us. I slowly went under the surface and see the blue waters, only to see Camilo come down 2 seconds later, he swam to me and pulled me in for a heartfelt kiss.

End of Flashback

"What a time right?"

"Definetly, and we have so many more memories to make mi amor." Camilo said gently bringing my hand to his lips

I turned my body towards him and wrapped my arms around his torso, Camilo gently leaned down to kiss the top of my head

What a perfect way to end a perfect day.
