Never Too Late

Y/n's Pov

"Y/n-iee" I heard a voice sing lightly as my eyes slowly opened. My sight was greeted with the same green eyes that make my heart skip a beat every time I look into them.

Camilo sent an adorable grin my way, "morning sunshine." He cooed climbing into bed with me, I lightly laughed and wrapped his arm around me once he was behind me, he then planted a warm kiss on my cheek before snuggling against me holding me close.

"Morning Cami" I said sheepishly, I felt Camilo adjust his weight in the bed, probably on his elbow now looking at me, "how'd you sleep last night mi vida?" He asked

"I slept great, how bout you?" I said through another yawn. "You clearly didn't sleep enough Cariño."

I snapped around to see him smirking at me, I threw my head back onto my pillow letting out a laugh, "fine I couldn't really sleep I'm just way to excited about this wedding!"

I shook Camilos shoulders before he lost balance and nearly landed on top of me, "I know princesa, so let's get you ready!"

I nodded, "okay.. just another minute.." I yawned not able to keep my eyes open

"Y/N!" I felt Camilo shake me again, his arms snaked around me "alright you asked for his" he began to tickle me

"CAMILO!" I squirmed around trying to escape his grasp resulting in me falling off the bed

"I'm Okay!" I reassured, from the ground I saw him appear above me leaning over the bed "sounds good."

"My brother's day needs to be perfect and it's not perfect.. and people are going to be coming!"

"Pepi the flowers! The flowers!"

"Did someone say..? Flowers?"

Inez and I shared a look standing at the balcony and giggled amongst eachother witnessing the madrigals going crazy over Bruno and Ramona's wedding

Mirabel rushed over to us, "hey Mira! How's Ramona doing?" I ask, "she's.. a little stressed but.. I'm hoping we can calm her down.. Dolores is currently helping her out to try to relax more but you know.."

"Wedding jitters huh?" Inez teased crossing her arms "Yup" Mirabel responded popping the 'P'

It was about time for everyone to take their seats for the wedding. Me and Inez stood beside Ramona, Camilo, Felix and Agustin stood beside Bruno

Estrella stood proudly with her flower basket next to her cousin Isabella, I looked down carefully smoothening out my green dress that complimented the theme

"Ramona, I never thought I'd see the day this could ever happen to me, something so lucky just seemed to unreal to imagine. Meeting someone so incredible as you, someone who finally sees me for me instead of evil. I'll never forget the feelings you're never able to stop giving me to this very day."

"Bruno, up until we met I was so unsure of what I wanted in life, after being in such a rough patch for some time I thought it was too late for me, too late to get married and start a family. But you taught me to chase my dreams, go after whatever it is that I wanted, you've always been by my side to show me that it's never too late when true love."

The beautiful wedding has been such a blast as we even sang karoeke together, to the family's surprise, Ramona and I made a pretty iconic singing duo!

The girls and I were all just dancing together jamming out to the music and enjoyed the wonderful food and cake

Eventually I took a break from the dancefloor along with my sister. "This has been the best wedding so far." Inez sighed

"What other weddings have you been too?" I asked, she looked at me with a blank smile, "I still have atleast another wedding to attend, that being yours and Camilos!"

We laughed together, "I guess so! I never really thought that deep about it.." I say letting my mind slightly wander before it took a turn, "Mana, if you don't mind me asking.. you never actually told me why you left Y/c.."

Inez looked at the ground like she was collecting answers for me and trying to piece together a good explanation before she lightly sighed, "well, it all kind of started a while before you left, mama and my father were putting more pressure on me because they wanted me to be this ideal 'picture perfect' daughter with the kind of future they wanted. Good career, good husband.. but to tell you the truth Y/n all I wanna do is find who I wanna be all on my own, what they want just doesn't seem like the real me at all. You know me! I'm adventurous and Independent, I love the outdoors, trying new things, the rush of crazy experiences.. but they constantly reminded me that my desires were ridiculous and stupid, and unacceptable as long as I lived with them so.." she looked over to me "I had no choice, I had to get away, somehow I ended up here.." she had a more vulnerable look in her eye

I gave her a half-hearted smile putting a hand on her shoulder, "mana, I'm so sorry you had to go through all that, none of what they say is true! I wish there was something I could've done better-"

"No no no." She quickly interjected, "you are amazing Y/n, you've done more than enough for me, for everyone, for Camilo."

"I'm glad you see it that way.." I say, "I swear, you're like a walking safe haven for everyone.. you know that?" She asks

"It's good to know" I chuckle

Soon enough Camilo makes his way over to us, "Hola hermosa, care to dance?" I look over to Inez "Dance with him lovergirl!" She says pushing me onto the dancefloor.

"Hey, Inez right? wanna dance?" A boy asked my sister, her face lit up "Sure! Roberé is it?" She asks, he nodded

He took her by the hand helping her up, we gave eachother a thumbs up as she walked past us, "they grow up so fast." I laughed

"Isn't that right." Camilo chuckled as he kissed me on the cheek. "Come on princesa."

Camilo and I were on the dance floor, slow dancing to the music. "Did I tell you how gorgeous you look tonight?"

"You did, like a hundred times." I laughed, he shamelessly pulled me in for another kiss, we pulled away "you look handsome tonight too Cami." I added with a laugh

Camilo slowly picked me up and span me, "This wedding has put a lot of ideas through my head."

"Us getting married someday?" I asked, Camilo said nothing but instead just held my face close and pressed his lips on mine

I rested my head on his chest looking up at the view of the pretty night sky, "Someday you'll be my Mrs. Madrigal." He laughed kissing my forehead, I giggled at his gestures

"Yeah, then not too long later.." I gentlt took his hand and placed it on my belly, "We'll make another Madrigal." I smiled

Camilo shared the same look I was giving and put his hand back on my waist "I love you so much Y/n"

"I love you too Camilo"

It was one of those nights where I couldn't help but wonder what life will be like in a few years..
